    Great video / advice, i thought i was listening to myself for a second, (lol) everything you do, we do, have been for about 5 years, the big difference we noticed, when we decided to go down this route, ie, electric reels, hot water cleaning, change of cleaning style,gocardless etc, was the time saving, we now finish on average an hour earlier, and also the decrease fatigue. It still amazes me, that with all this information / testimonials, people still cant except what the likes of you and i say, when offering advice, i still talk to people, years later after advising them, still spending so much time rinsing of the glass on a low flow! ...but hey, lets keep it our secret and earn more money, faster :). PS...The only over advice i would give, is switch to a swivel neck, this helps so much over the conservatory, when you are side on trying to reach the bedroom windows, and in general, it eases the strain your wrists and shoulders

      Yes I think some guys wear blinkers and don't want to change anything they currently do. probably because initially it does mean doing a bit of extra work but it pays off in the end. I tried the swivel neck and my son swears by them but I found they didn't agree with my right shoulder but I may give them another go.

    Thank you mate for the advice. Great insight. I also think a lot of people don't research before they get into it.

    Thanks for the advice. As you use hot water, can you do a van tour video?

    You mentioned you have a couple van's. What's your approach with exceeding the vat threshold and employment?

      I’m on the flat rate scheme which effectively means 10.6%, 12% of 80% of your takings.but you have to go on the full rate once you get to 250k. It works out less than that though because big items over 2k I claim the vat back. Bought new vans equipment recently and the vat have been paying me.
      Put your prices up every year by a percentage this should cover the vat, the customer pays not you.
      Pay staff well, so you need good prices want to be doing close to £400 per van per day don’t pay peanuts minimum wage basic but good bonus

    When you have your one off jobs do you still put them on GoCardless or do you in them circumstances use BACS (due to them jobs not being a regular job).

    Some great suggestions although I would recommend going one step further with the gardener extreme 18ft with the carbon fibre gooseneck with an extreme brush the ultimate lightweight pole. Plus I personally don't do any work over 18 ft so if it can't be reached within that it's not the job for me.
    In regards to hot water do you use it every day?

    • @pkcleaning-windowcleaningm4377
      @pkcleaning-windowcleaningm4377  Рік тому

      Yes, I do use the hot water every day. I would use the ultimate polls. All these new lightweight ones I found that they just don’t last day at a time, if I gave one to staff so probably need a new section within a week and it would be costly.
