I would like to thank everyone concerned with bringing these fabulous old movies to the masses. I, for one, would not have any entertainment, if you didn't. Thank you with hugs from Sherie Rodrigues from Australia
Warren hall is absolutely handsome, his eyes were divine, I was completely focused on him the entire movie. His suits, the hair, the elegance, he made my heart melt.
Warren h u l l was a fine actor mostly did B movies did very early television he certainly could have been up there with the big boys he was tall and handsome I believe he had blue eyes there's just a lot of luck and who gets where and when
This was a perfect movie as its a predecessor of the Rock Hudson and Doris Day movies with similar plots Also Warren Hull was not only very handsome but could act well also. Even I fell in love with Henry by the end of the movie lol. I give this a solid gold 10. Shame on Hollywood for not making Warren Hull and the female lead more famous with more well written scripts and hype. Im hlad these movies are here for us to learn more of old movies, the forgotten actors and genuine entertainment.❤
Keep those fabulous old movies from the Golden Age of Hollywood coming, many of them were true masterpieces like The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1939, along with many others! 1939 was a banner year with great award winning films! Younger people need to realize this really wasn't that long ago and it was quite modern back then! Note those modern chrome chairs by the pool and those sexy backless evening gowns or ones with spaghetti straps or one shouldered gowns! Dolly Tree, a British costume designer was the first to create those sexy modern gowns and influenced me to become a professional fashion illustrator in the late 1960s and 70s in NYC! My late parents were married in 1939 and the home movies of their wedding showed the big old cars. My late father was tall dark and handsome and had movie star looks and wore an all white suit on his wedding day. Mom looked beautiful and all her bridesmaids wore turquoise gowns, with big picture hats! The color turquoise was all the rage back then even into the 1950s with pink kitchens and pink appliances! Thanks for showing this fun movie..so enjoyable! Will check out all the cast members!
Warren Hull’s eyes were heart meltingly beautiful. He obviously respected his lungs, too. The clothes are gorgeous and the dance scene was beautiful. A man with eyes like that who dances with elegance and grace??? I’m sold!
It's amazing when you think about these old classic movies being almost 100 years old. Wow! I like them far more than the movies made nowadays. Thanks PizzaFlix for your great collection!

An absolutely tremendous picture. I have to show my utter gratitude to this splendid film that gave me one hell of a great time. Naturally, people then were well-mannered and held on to morals. A good marriage is such a blessing!
Sad that you feel the need to 'qualify' your comment with, "Whatever they were in the past". In our American past, they were the "greatest generation" and worthy of admiration- if not emulation.
@@elinannestad5320 Nope. It wasn't about that. People were more forward thinking than most peole today. They also had morals and not the type that you might imagine. The problem of people pleaseing was around but not like it is today. People followed their conscience more back then. They had something solid to stand on. Those people were stronger than us overall. We have regressed.
I do think they wore those suite way too loose. The pants were aweful. The Jackets were too heavy. The shoes however were something to be admired. The style overall was not bad but givign up the hat for men was a mistake imho.
I know it's only a story but..... I felt for Helen. She deserved the man. She was noble and unselfish and plainly loved him. The bride only thought of herself, ever.
These two worked together in 39 'Should a Girl Marry?' and in 40, ' The Green Hornet Strikes Again. Hull was a thirties hart throb and made several serials that are worth watching. His character 'Blinky/Winky'(?) is fab.

i agree, but how anyone could not have seen them already is beyond me. - oh, maybe millenials. poor things, they have no idea how fun it was to have to watch commercials LOL. But we did have to wait a week to see tv shows, and movies were on when they were on! i think it was Million Dollar Movie (NYC) which used to show the same movie all week (M-F) - i would sometimes stay up til midnight to watch it. it must have been on fridays. then there was Chiller Theater - that was fun. (Actually, the scariest scene i ever, ever saw was the old witch in Snow White - scared the heck outta me. i loved the Night of the Living Dead :} They stopped making good scary movies after The Exorcist, which scared the hell outta me. - i saw a couple of them and never watched one again. they were really frightening. the only one i liked was the one in the hotel with Jack Nicholson (and Steven King hated that it really was nothing like the book - thank heavens, because i saw Carrie and i hated it; it just plain mean - have never read a single book of his.)
@@feralbluee So watching a 10 year old Stab herself between the legs with a cross and pitting out green slime with her head spinning in circle was enjoyable to you, but watch a 16 year old having her period and girls making fun of her for freaking out over it was some how disturbing ? Interesting 😂
