This is a great way to clean injectors. Whenever I have issues usually high egt's I do this first and it usually solves the problem. Hope it works for you.
Hey Mike, always a good idea to have a peak at injectors. You're there now may as well do it while you have everything apart. Hope it works for you and that 600 Crossfire rips!
Thank you for the video, it's great, well explained and easy to do. Can the brake cleaner damage the injector and that's ok! then for gasoline. Is it better to do it the opposite way first. THANKS!!!
I’m taking out my injectors today on my 98 ZR600 EFI. Hoping it’ll clear why one cylinder isn’t firing properly. What do you think about flushing the injector backwards from the nozzle side? Seems to me it’ll flush out any small particles better than trying to flush them through the nozzle tip
@@danieltrudel well I tried your procedure.. didn’t go so smooth.. didn’t have a syringe and didn’t know where to get one like you had.. as I couldn’t really see it.. I tried to make a tight seal.. but instead on the cleaner going through the injector.. it just ended up on the walls
I tried this method and both click before spraying cleaner, neither injector will pass the cleaner. I even took out the filters and tried them that way. Would this mean that both injectors are bad?
Hey Jarod, may be a build-up in the tips. Do you have someone who can service them? They will flow them both ways and that usually clears any blockages.
Great video. This will be helpful. Just rebuilt the motor in my 06 Crossfire 600 and wanted to look at the injectors before I fire it up.
Do you mean to do it in the reverse direction first and in the normal direction, of the video, then. Is brake cleaner good for injectors? THANKS!
very helpfull best video iv found yet thanks

you should back flow spray the injector first to clear all the debris in screen and then spray it the regular way.
Thank You!!!!!!
Thanks!

Will this work on 2009 RMK 700 CFI ???
Now I’d like to see a video on how you removed that from the sled
They are easy to get to in my sled (Cat) but depending on what you are riding it could be an adventure!

Question à tu une vidéo comment tu le demancher
Can I use a car battery
I can't imagine how this is helping much. Brake clean is a solvent...gas is a solvent.
