I especially like that you slip the first stitch. It creates a neat edge. Love the linen stitch!

a very good explanation of the linen stitch. your points allow me to understand the logic of the stitch, which allows me to understand what i am seeing on the knitted fabric. that lets me spot and correct any mistakes i have made. well-done!

I see that you guys don't really answer questions, but I figure I'll try: when you do a slip edge, does it differ based on which row you're doing? For example, do you slip as if to perl in the perling row, or vice versa, or do you just use one slip stitch for the edge the entire time?

It sure would have helped if you started with row 1 right after you cast on...and slow down please. Thanks!

Your idea for edges is very good. I would have liked to seen this demo in Continental also. This back and front and back and front for English style knitting is ...ugh! Also would have liked to know what bind off for linen stitch. But as another poster stated, you don’t answer questions.

I was doing fine until I messed it up and when I slip the stitch I'm not sure if I need to actually turn that specific loop around so that the longer string part is facing me?. I keep making this, but when I flip it the other side to view it , it looks like theirs bubbly parts to my work now ?
