With lockdowns getting extended, and people are talking about how it is affecting businesses and imports and exports , its better to stock up on basic groceries to help us all until lockdowns are lifted and economy comes back to normalcy. You are very experienced person and I feel you can guide us all on how to get through this situation safely and with peace of mind. 1)Please do a detailed video on how to plan and buy groceries for a family of four people and use it carefully so that it will last for atleast 8-10 months? 2) How all items to buy and store for one year and how to safeguard those groceries? 3)what simple and healthy meals to prepare daily so that the groceries will last for many months. 4)give menu ideas for a month so we can follow that every month. 5) please share some tips on how to keep ourselves happy and our minds calm and peaceful when everyday in the news they say all scary and negative things. Sundaikai is very famous in chettinad. Most of our houses having sundaikai sedi. Also available in kaikari santhai on Aalaku basis. We prepare raw sundaikai pachadi/pulikolumbu/soup/sambar etc. We cut it into 4 pcs each by Aruvalmanai.

Wearing of Mehandi by bride nearest day before marriage girls attaining their 1st periods 2. Wearing of metty on toe by the bride on the wedding day 3. Inviting ladies/sumangalies to our homes and giving thambulams or betel.leaves. from my own simple thoughts , betal leaves contains more calcium and especially ladies required it more for her resistance. this is thorny plant . murungai also attracts too many worms . both taken occasionally only, outside every village there used to be common grazing land before called kadu kazhani where naturally herbs grew. herbs medicinal vale will be intact only when they grow naturally aided by birds environment bees etc. if we plant where we want its value will be greatly reduced. true for any moolikai

Maami looking at your delicious spread I am missing my Amma a lot. I live in London and she is in Bangalore. My mother always makes my favorite food on the day I land home- kottorangai puli kootu, chapati , rasam, onion toghayal, rice and fresh fragrant Mysore Pak. All through my childhood I would complain to her- enamma innikkum idhu thana sapattu. But now I miss even the routine sambar rasam my mom makes.
