Many questions and concerns arise in our minds on how to raise our children. We try our best to rear our children in the best possible way. However, we later question our own methods and practices in raising our children. Why is that? @7’00”. IMHO, till about 1950s or 1960s, bringing up children ie., child rearing was parenting only. Parents were able to speak from the pedestal. As media expanded to tv, cable tv, laptop, mobile etc., and now social media, parents started to fear speaking to children, let alone punish them when they do mischief.
