This was just the best project from start to finish. I made one in an evening for my daughter and absolutely love it. Thank you for such a great tutorial!
Great video, love this hat! I am wondering if there is a way to add elastic to the top of this hat pattern?? I have seen a lot of messy bun hats made top - down with elastic but not bottom - up!!
Yes you can add elastic! Its the only kind we make. I use a a standard style black hair tie but in the “thick” version. It’s 2-3 times bigger around then a regular sized one. For my 7 year old I use a regular sized one. There’s lots of tutorials on how to add it to hats like this.
Thank you so much!! You are a great teacher!
Thank you so much for your videos. I like the way you explain each part of the process that makes it easy to understand.
I love your bindoff method. I'm going to make one just like this ❤
This is so great - going to make one for my daughter for Christmas. Thank you!

No I think it’s just crochet from the top - down, I don’t know how you would be able to do it with knitting 🤔

Is the hole large enough to put the beanie on after your hair is already done up?
Me encanta tu canal y quiero hacerme este proyecto pero me gustaría saber si lo tienes en español...
N I want to make for kids age 8,9 so how many stitches do I need
How many rows would you suggest to knit to make it a normal hat (instead of a messy bun hat).
Thank you very much!!! Xxx
Go to sheep and stitch and she has one u can do flat but it's measured in inches not rows. About 3in brim and 3in middle before decrease
for a fitted beanie, 7in (from the last ribbed row). for a slouchy beanie, about 8 or 9in
Hi also if I want to make cable stitch how many stitch do I need or I only use the same stitch
Super cute
I am curious, what length circular needles are you using? I have a pair of 9mm, 29” and my beanie is coming out bigger than my head.
9 mm, 16” are the ones I use
I could not find any smaller than 29’
Can this beani be done on a loom ?
Im a beginner and dont know how to do needles
About how much of each yarns do we need?
Hi can u tell me what number of the needle

I did this and as soon as I pulled the needle out at the end, everything unraveled!😕
You didn’t close it properly 😕
I did it exactly how you showed us. I don’t know what I did wrong.😕
