    Great video. You're a good teacher I'm new to knitting after 26 years. I have just made this. It's amazing little hat and super cute. Thanks for the share

    This was the first hat I ever made and the first time I ever knit in the round. People ask me where I got my hat and I'm super proud to say I made it. You are an awesome instructor. I did have a few video ideas I would like to mention. :)
    1) How to knit a sweater.
    2) How to knit a mermaid tail blanket.
    I haven't knitted anything that requires measuring to fit someone. I am a bit intimidated by the prospect. You have such a fun personality I would love to watch one of your videos that teaches how to fit to size. The mermaid tail blankets are super cute and I think would be a good beginning project to learn to do measurements. Also there isn't a decent knit mermaid tail blanket video on UA-cam yet. Just a thought :) Thank you!!!

    On my third try, I finally got the hole thing, its perfect. The elastic bind off left me in the dark as I've never heard of that tape. Looked it up on you tube and found several to do without flare without the tape you mentioned. But found out I couldn't do it in the round. Finally just binded off regular and it's fine, mainly cause the 60 cast ons are usually too big for my head. A little more explanation on that would have been nice. All's well, love my beanie, thank you!

    Hello chandi i am going to make this hat..have a couple of questions? Is this a one size fits all? Do you need to measure around your head and that will determine how many cast on? How long did you make your chain( the drawstring) for this hat..

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  5 років тому +1

      Yes, it is a one size fits all pattern, but it can be easily customizable. All of the details for the pattern can be found here: blog.expressionfiberarts.com/2017/04/19/how-to-knit-a-4-in-1-ponytail-messy-bun-hat-easy-and-quick/
