Looks like a good day of digging! Not certain what make or model; your mystery item #2 looks to be a dash trim bezel that went around the steering column and covered the speedometer, possibly covering the turn signal indicators. This looks to be around the late 20s early 30s model trucks.
Very cool! That's kind of what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure? I used Google trying to find the dash on model t, and model a ford's, buy didn't seem to look similar, but it could have been a different old vehicle! Thank you very much for watching!

Another great video Chad! I would love to dig those miners tags! You should make an episode where you get all the guys together and make a game out of it, who ever finds the most or the lowest number, have everyone throw in a silver dime for a prize pot or something! Anyway always enjoy your content and love the beautiful spots you get to detect, I only wish I could use my atvs to get into more spots and cellar holes. Keep up the great work!
😆 that's a pretty good idea! Man we've probably found over a hundred by now! I guess when they quit or when the mines closed they just tossed them. It's interesting how important those old tags really were! I wish we could trace them back to a person but the coal companies destroyed most of those records "for reasons"... thank you for watching guys!
Again cool finds. I wonder if a family knew the coal miner's tag number? Guess records of coal miners who worked for that coal co. have been long gone.
Agreed, we have tried to find anything to trace back any records, but we've been told they were mostly all destroyed unfortunately. Coal mine companies did not want anyone or anything getting known.

That Zippo was made between 1955 and 1979 because of how Zippo is written on it. You can pull up "Zippo dates" and it'll show you when exactly it was made by the // marks on the Zippo . If you'll send a clear picture of the bottom I can tell you.
