I have had so much trouble with Shimano steps chain rings. The bolts which attach the ring to the spider cannot be tightened on the bike due to clearance and poor grip. I have had to purchase the full chain ring removal tool simply because I cannot tighten these bolts. I feel like Shimano have made these drivetrains to force people into buying unnecessary tools. Previously the chain ring was tightened to the spider with normal screws and threads, not bolt with silly nuts with poor grip and novel tools

Dont use the O-Ring! It drys up and brakes of and then your Cog is completly loose 😱 cos some mooron at Bosh made it left wound on the right side! So when you pedal you loosen the sprocket 😨

I recently puchased a Rail 5 and after my third bike my lockring came loose. So many people are affected by this.
Bosch didnt think or tested this trought it seems.
