I think Kenyans or Africans in general need to stop thinking that everything needs to be managed by the government. That's why there are rarely any improvements or profits. We've held on to everything, allowing corruption to slow growth. There's no government in the developed world that has appetite in running these facilities. Let private companies run them. Be it oil fields, airports, and other expensively manages asest, let them be run by private institutions by giving them a lease. I don't know how the government can successfully manage all of these assets. Besides, governments usually provide very poor services in terms of such assets. Leasing to private institutions ensures they are performing, well managed, and profitable. This fear that things are being sold is crazy.
😂😂uliamua kujisaidia ukapatwa
@binnyosh5630 The 'can of worms' issue is identity. There is a legit fear that should the Indian firm take over the airport, kenyan workers will be fired and replaced by foreign Indian employees and that the current businesses will be replaced by Indian owned businesses.
Having a government lounge clearly indicates how Kenyan citizens and 'waheshimiwa' are treated differently 😂😂
Interesting fact!
The Procera Gin was never available to be sold in Kenya despite been made in Kenya. I highly doubt you will find this product in our locals alcohol stores.
Watching from Arizona 🇺🇸
The problem is, the airport is leased given a person who's known for corruption and he's going to get a 18% lifetime deal from the project. Plus there's a report claiming that people will be sent home as he's bringing other staff from his country.
I agree 💯 Tim let them upgrade it for us
Let it be leased, lots of loses registered by Kenya Airways in the past few years. Another eye looking into how things are being carried out will be a good move.
Why can't the airport hire competent managers rather than selling out to foreign private firms?
Kwaheri kenya 🇰🇪
It's being leased to an indian billionaires who will renovate & develop it,, it has been making loses for decades, it's Better for it to leased rather than goverment injecting billions & still making loses!
It ain't for sale... Nairobi express highway is ppe too you can say that too, read in the details.
Watch full video he has explained
Yaani sisi wa Kenya na shule yote we went hakuna kitu tunaweza jifanyia? If one is incompetent does not mean all of us are. We can manage this airport. It just shows you the people places in that position are blocking the real Kenyans who are qualified to take those position and manage the company. How come other business do well like Safaricom managed by Kenyans?
By the way where can i get our older videos?
An Airport unlike a highway is an entry point to our home country Kenya. How can it be ru by foreigners?
Its being leased .not sold
Yaani Timo uliamua piga shots😅
Wako na changa
Waaa😂😂😂😂. Iyo story na sandwich inakuumanga sana😅😂😂
700 zii, mkate na cabbage 700??
