Satisfactory gameplay today where we're finally processing through the last of our nuclear waste at our nuclear power plant. There's almost half a million waste to go through though, so while that's processing into plutonium we get started on our main base for our playthrough!

About: Satisfactory
Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Pioneering for FICSIT Incorporated means charting and exploiting an alien planet, battling alien lifeforms, creating multi-story factories, entering conveyor belt heaven, automating vehicles, and researching new technologies. The Satisfactory Train update and Nuclear update also adds in trains, train stations, and nuclear power plant to enjoy, if you can handle the nuclear waste that is! In some of our videos, we go over Satisfactory tips and Satisfactory building tips, as well how to build a mega base and manufacturer setup. Our Satisfactory Early Access let’s play ep 1 was started a few months ago, but now we have hundreds of hours since Satisfactory ep 1 and have built a giant base with computer production, supercomputer production, a huge nuclear power plant and hundreds of trains! Our giant train system covers the entire map and gathers uranium, deals with our nuclear waste, and Satisfactory trains are a very satisfactory way of travel!
Satisfactory Update 3 also changed the game entirely adding pipes, Hyper Tubes, the Awesome Shop and Awesome Sink (aka Resource Sink), a new desert biome, a new vehicle, and a ton more! Recently though Satisfactory Update 4 released adding in the very Satisfactory Tier 8 with: plutonium, plutonium waste, a hover pack, the blender, a battery building, ziplines, gas, reservoirs and wells, drones, new space elevator parts, and a whole lot more too!

I randomly came across you one day on youtube when looking for some satisfactory stuff. And since then you have kept me coming back. The content itself is really good but more than that you actually taught me how to not be tonedeaf with building structures for my factories.
Letsgameitout has a really good series, but it’s not exactly efficiency focused…

I know that death is basically meaningless in the game. But watching people running up to the edge of the abyss like that is really hard to watch.

Death is still an annoyance, and you can glitch through the world making your crate unreachable, which leads to having to craft all the gear again.

Kibz hasn't had his usual glow ever since he started talking about plutonium that one time.
You basically need a user manual to start up the nuclear plants. I love it.
Here's a little alignment tip for SF players who are absurdly OCD about it:
Build any miner aligned to the compass, then whip out a splitter and hold hold down the "alignment" key to see the blue lines.
You'll notice that the splitter widget will snap not just in front of the miner, but behind and to the sides as well. Put one splitter to the side and one to the front/back of the miner then deconstruct the miner.
Now, walk back to the center of the node and look straight down. Select another splitter and walk around until you see the blue lines from _both_ of the splitters you just built _AND_ those lines don't wiggle when you tap the alignment key (i.e: it is perfectly aligned on both the X and Z axes).
Now, since you haven't moved the mouse and are still looking straight down, select a foundation, jump, and place it. That foundation is now aligned to all resource nodes and you can build clean 90 degree conveyor corners to your heart's content.
Kibs 2021 only space elevator parts. Kibs 2022 LETS GOOO I AUTOMATED 94% OF EVERYTHING IN SATISFACTORY IN THIS TOWER.

But brutalist architecture is meh. Like it's cool to look at, but it sucks to actually be around. The arts and architecture building at my university was done in a brutalist style and the interior looks like it's still not done. Not that it isn't, that's just the way the interior design works. Exposed paneling, ducts, and concrete supports with dim lighting. . . It just really sucks to be around IRL. But I totally see how it would work in Satisfactory.
Idk, this is kinda subjective, for me brutalist style is just ok
Wow, to see my factory being featured on here is incredible on its own, but for it to inspire you is even greater. And to top it off, you build your factory close to the same spot I build that spire. Great minds think alike.

You do know that if you hold down Ctrl while placing a foundation it will snap to the world grid? That's a lot more dependable than using a Miner.
You can use the 3600 oil from the blue lagoon in the base!
Design ideas for the tower top, two separate windows running from almost bottom to almost top. So your top appears to be 8 tiles wide, meaning you do the second, third, sixth and seventh tiles from the second to bottom wall tile to the second to top as window panes

Maybe you could use colored lights for giant led strips for the exterior. I think like just some vertical lines somewhere where the wall looks a bit too flat.
and as a bonus it will make the facrory work faster because everyone knows stripes make things faster
at 21:53 your batteries weren't draining there was one or two charging.
My first NPP setup was Drone dropped Uranium, 10 plants, 30 Water, uranium housing with 4 Blenders with sulfuric redrip, 1 Assembler, 3 Assembers, 5 Manufacturers and several 1:5 & 4:5 load balancers, Non-fissile stage was 2 blender, 4 packager, Accelerator stage was 1 Accelerator, 3 assemblers, 2 manufacturers, more load balancing and a Few Sinks in the whole mix to make sure nothing bottlenecked. Sharing so others don't need to do all the math to maximize 1 Particle Accelerator.
It’s my hypothesis that games like Minecraft have created a new resurgence and appreciation for brutalist architecture. Videogames tend towards grids and blocks to build environments, which lends perfectly towards that sort of aesthetic (even though the philosophy was originally born from cost-effectiveness and simplistic practicality).

I will note that the area where Kibz decided to build is the location of a very interesting Easter egg which also happens to be the toughest enemy currently in the game. It is located on one of the cliff’s lowest points hidden inside a very foggy and somewhat unpolished cave…
Good luck and take it slowly! It's so easy to get bogged down and burned out in the massive compound phase.

ImKibitz u should of 5 towers that does 5 things 1 tower for storing for back log of stuff you need for production then the other 4 is production giving the needed space for it all.
"Looks at my blue crater lake which is overflowing with radioactive waste"..... I didnt know it was the best looking area when i started my nuclear factories there....... rofl
On a side note.... best location for me was the Blue Crater.... it has access to mostly everything nearby.
I do not envy kibits for having to trouble shoot such large factories

Kibz got so sick of dealing with nuclear, he literally set up shop on the other side of the map.
There's a mod that gives you access to the world grid directly. You place a single floor section and it will create a phantom floor section over all the resources nodes on the map. The section is displayed only when you start to build the foundation near it. The foundation will align with the phantom foundation at every node so you can make sure your miners are all aligned to the world grid.
There's a mod that makes it so you don't need wires. It makes connecting things MUCH simpler.
Yea that would be useful as i still need to remember the orientation.
as a newcomer to the game: Do you have any mods enabled for this game so that you can build faster (multiple build selection) or for the map or the calculator that you've shown in the last video?
Or is that all in the base game?

19:57 If you have full hp and you get damage, that would have killed you. It gets cancelled and you are left with 1 hp. So no, you wouldn't have died there

what he does with one click takes me hours of laying wall after wall, painting each wall one by one... eeeeeeeeeergh !
Just add Smart mod to your game, worst case scenario is you wind up without it when Update 5 hits, but who knows, we may even get Smart-like features with Update 5, they have teased things regarding build-modes so.
Protip: Start building as low as you can(i.e. below ground level), so that you can have taller factories!
