Congratulations to Katrina and you on your marriage you honored your promise and gave her a stunning car for a stunning bride and what a wonderful ending of a very engaging series loved every episode . Xa series next!
Thanks so much for your company along the way Phillip. As I brushed on in the monologue near the end. It’s the input from folks like yourself that have kept me motivated to see the job through also. Hope your and the family are well. Catch in on the XA coupe series in a couple of months
Hey you’re absolutely correct! it is art to me mate. I was looking for a creative outlet years ago because I paint in oil colors but after a lifetime of trying to develop my own style I still was no good… painting in oils I had moments of clarity and brilliance but could never finish anything decent … so a decade or so ago I decided cars were the canvas and medium of choice. Thanks so much for sharing the journey mate and your input. See you in a few month on the XA Coupe vids
Congratulations not just on finishing the ZF but also on getting Married. I've really enjoyed the build and have been watching since the beginning and I'm looking forward to seeing you work on the XA Coupe and to seeing the factory. Just want to wish you and Katrina all the very best in the future, Thank you for sharing those highlights from the ceremony.
Oh mate thank you so much for the message and ongoing input. I really appreciate your input and encouragement. It might surprise you to learn that without the feedback and motivation I receive from folk such as yourself the mission would be so much harder. Take care mate and see you in XA Coupe resto 2
Congratulations to you and Katrina. Wishing you both a long, happy and healthy life together. Such a lovely ceremony, confess I was a bit teary by the end. Oh, the Fairlane looks great too! All the best, looking forward to your next adventure. Cheers, Phillip
Congratulations to you and your beautiful new wife! Thanks so much for this series of videos on your ZF Fairlane. I found your channel from Mr. Pete A. I have learned so much and gained such inspiration from watching your videos. Best of luck to you and yours. And can't wait to see the next series of videos. Thanks Mate, from America.
I started watching the films of your restoration project on this Ford in the early Autumn of last year and had to play catch up; it’s been a fun run watching the blood, sweat, and tears you put into this car, Mr. Jason. Congratulations on tying the knot with your now Better-half. Now you’ll never need to make another decision again, huh?!😜
Mate, what a credit to you, started to watch because Peter Anderson mentioned you on his videos and I hope you share the next project as you have the knack of making it feel like we sitting in the shed having a beer and may all go good for you in the future
Thanks so much for the accolade mate. Yes I though someone must have been in the shed with me… based on the amount of empties I took to the recycling center the other day. Surly I didn’t drink them all by myself lol
Congrats to you both may your journey together be full of good health, love and respect always to each other thank you so much too for the brilliant Fairlane resto build been brilliant.
Congratulations on your wedding and of course, the competition of the Fairlane. This has been a fantastic series as you’ve shown the real world reality of a classic car restoration. Starting out with a car with previous crash damage and old dodgy repairs means you’ve got a mountain of work just to get back to ground zero before you can start the restoration proper. It’s easy to get disillusioned with a project of this magnitude but you got through the dark times and you definately deserve to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Congrats again mate and enjoy your brand new ride. Looking forward to the coupe project.
Loved watching this build from start to finish over the years car looks great can’t wait to watch you build the Coupe. Congratulations on your wedding. You are a great down to earth, bloke. 🍺🍺🍺🍺
Sad to see an end. Watching the zf come along has been something to look forward to over all this time. But everything must come to an end.And the finished product does not disapoint. At the same time. Looking forward to a new start on the coupe. Well done mate. Thank you for all the content. It's been awsome. Much appreciated. See you on the next one
I started watching way back when you were working on the fuel filler opening. You and the ZF have come a long way. Congratulations on a job well done and congratulations and all the very best to you and Katrina for a long and happy life together.
Congratulations Jason and Katrina, may there be much love and joy for your future ahead. The ZF looks fantastic a few gremlins to sort but you seem to be on top of the issues. I'm looking forward to future video's of the XA hardtop or ZF updates.
Gratz to you and Katrina for the special day. Absolute pleasure to help you out with the ZF..I hope I can assist with the Coupe when you're ready! Great video channel! New one will be the coupe channel!
Yes mate, I’m going to try and change her up a bit too. I need to buy a new camera so I might as well upgrade the editing software also and possibly include a bit of drone footage in the intro … and try my hand at narration during the editing phase rather than talking to the camera as I work
What a beautiful wedding I'm so sorry I missed it. Reading the other comments, they're correct... the Fairlane doesn't come close to Katrina, you both must be so happy, the ceremony looked wonderful with the weather being extra kind. It was a pleasure helping you where I could, I'm sure Stuart and Adam would attest to that. But it was just a hand, YOU restored the car and for that you should be so proud. Did the interior light switch turn out to be the cause of the dead battery? I'll get into it next weekend if you're available... if not i'm on long service leave in a fortnight, so will give you all the time you need. Cheers buddy, love and best wishes to you and Katrina.
Hey Jason fantastic results all round congratulations on all fronts I've whatched every episode and what a great ending 👌 can't wait for the coupe the best and toughest cars on the road today nothing compares to the coupe 💪💪✔️
Looks absolutely awesome Mate I have enjoyed watching the progress. Congratulations on your wedding. Your electrical drain shouldn’t be to hard to find. Using a a multimeter set to current in series with your positive terminal to read the circuit current. You mentioned Pete had set you up with a blade fuse box. Remove each fuse in turn until you see the current drop to get an indication of which circuit is casing the problem. From there you should be able to trace the problem. Hope this helps cheers Scott
Congratulations Jason. Now we look forward to seeing you work on the coupe now! Re the mini tape roll you made, I saw another good idea. You can make a mini roll with a 10mm socket. Just wrap with tape and away you go. Credits to Eric from South Main Auto on youtube.
@@GODEES77 oh yes someone else mentioned that too… I will do once I buy a new camera…. Ha ha ha I ran over my good one in the ZF trying to film a drive over shot for the final video lol
Good on you Jason, I also have watched from the beginning, it has been a great ride, congratulations on the finish and the nuptials. What a great collaboration with Peter and Adam, besties forever!
Thanks so much mate… I’ll do a quick upholstery series of vids where I’ll be doing the upholstery in Pete’s XA Fairmont interior but I’ll give the footage to Pete to publish on his channel and then I’ll start my coupe series
Jason, congratulations! A beautiful car and a very beautiful wife! I'm a bit sad to see the car done, but I know there will be more. It's been so enjoyable to watch you over the years. Thank you for everything. You are a lucky man!
Thanks so much for the company along the way mate… it truly has meant a lot. I look forward to sharing the XA coupe journey with you next. Possibly in about 2-3 months time. I’m really going to change it up … a new clean spacious factory to work from will make it so much easier to do better work.
Well done and congratulations Jason! Been great to watch and couldn't be happier for you! Turned out mint and a tuff arse end! Your boy graduation was almost my favourite part! Look forward to the big bad hardtop! All the best!
Jason, my heartiest congratulations to you on your marriage to the lovely Katrina. May you enjoy a lifetime of happiness together. Kudos to you also, for seeing the ZF resto through to the finish, the old girl presents really well and looks & sounds a treat. Your laid back, unpretentious onscreen persona, (much like your mate Pete), is a huge reason I enjoy the skills & experiences you both share through the thoughtful content on your UA-cam videos. As I'm about to embark on my own coupe resto, I'm enthusiastically looking forward to your upcoming coupe series as well.
Oh Peter that’s one of the most lovely and appreciative messages I’ve received mate. And there’s be literally a multitude over the past 24 hours… I was reflecting with Katrina last night on how gracious, thoughtful and polite the viewers are and that I never receive any trolling horrible comments. Please keep in touch with your coupe resto. It sounds like we are going to start the about the same time and can help each other. Hey what town are you in? And what state? I’ve got a huge array of parts stockpiled for the coupe. What condition is yours in?
@@BoyAnachronism01Sorry Jason, got a bit distracted. I've owned mine since 1980, using it as a daily driver for nearly 12 years, so it should all still be there. Took it off the road to start restoring it & well here we are (hopeless, I know - lol). It's been in dry storage for a lot of the intervening years so it's reasonable, despite a few bumps and dents and rust in all the usual places. I've been ravenously researching and honing my skills, as I have no option but to do as much of the resto myself due to a limited budget, but it should work out ok. Just need to get some more metal shaping gear & a TIG welder and I can get going. After watching your video on the new factory, I guess I'm a little north of you in the Cranbourne area, so not too far away. Hope married life is treating you well, cheers
Congratulations to all involved, what an epic build series and fantastic result, and congratulations on your wedding. Really looking forward to the XA and new shed. Thanks for taking us on the ride with you.
