A match made in heaven very nice that engine gives an amazing look Ford power engine all your work is first class love the door trims special mention as usual to Mr Cleveland Peter Anderson nothing he can't do thanks for sharing Jason your being rewarded with this build.
Yes exactly mate… there’s not much I can control in relation to the overall layout but the little things, the easy things are what brings pleasure and satisfaction aye mate
Won’t be long now. Will be a fabulous car. Watching you do the windows reminded me of the time I had to replace the quarter light window in my wife’s Ford Capri convertible. Just as well the Capri wrecker who sold me the window told me how to do it and the correct sequence. I’d have never figured it out. Not a job I want to do again! Cheers.
Its great to see the engine go in, it really looks good sitting in there. I think your at the point where everything you put on makes it feel so much much closer to finishing.
Yes mate on the home stretch now aye… in fact I have almost everything I need to finish the car here all paid for… I only need an accelerator peddle and an A/C condenser plus the plumbing for the A/C but that I’ll need to pay someone to do
Oh mate that would be so much fun aye… if we lived just around the corner from each other it would be possible but we live just a little bit to far away from each other to make it possible. It would be an amazing car tho.
Haha that was a fun weekend! Lots of shed banter and carry on. Was great to meet Peter and share some laughs. Need a trip count for Pete and the Jack handle lol
Oh yeah mate… I didn’t realize he did it a couple of times until I watched the vid in it’s entirety… great fun weekend aye… I’m almost over the Covid and will hit the shed this arvo… I’m getting my energy back now… I didn’t realize it but I was crook on Wednesday night when I was in the shed trying to massage the extractors onto the heads… I was so stiff and sore and sweaty, I wasn’t having fun so I went up to the house, showered and went to bed. Did 3 hours on-site on Thursday morning came home and tested positive. That day was my worst day and I’ve been on the improve since and now full of gusto again. Hope you and Amanda are doing well
The Kookaburras near the end really toped of this great video Jason, I'm sure you had to cut plenty out. Peter Anderson added some extra entertainment with the jack handle, hows his shins 😃 The ZF is certainly going to be schmik, the motor accessories and detail is looking superb. Great work Jason ☺
Oh yeah that was hilarious mate… I didn’t realize he shunned himself twice until I watched the whole vid after publication… yeah the kookaburras had to be included aye. Glad you appreciated them and the vid
a good wrecker aye, I remember I dropped my old XD panel van there years ago just cos it was a bit rusty and before that I gave them my V8 XC for about $200 each… naturally they are long gone
something i always do and tell people to do too is to make sure you test the door / boot seals and trim at the welding stage, sometimes that can really bite you at the end of the fit up some repo manufactures of new door seals make extra soft ones which helps
I didn't even know the camera was on for most of that.... Cars' looking sensational as always, incredibly busy at the moment, so sorry I haven't been back around... at this stage, the weekend after next... is that okay?
Mr. Jason, I’m finally caught up with all the episodes on the progress of your Aussie Ford restoration. I gotta say, this episode was almost as dry as a popcorn fart. But, now on to episode 46. When do you reckon to start the restoration on the black XA Coupe you made a film of about a year ago?

Cheers mate yes and the finish line is in sight too. Thanks for continuing to share the journey mate
Great aussie banter ... love it. Mach8ne is looking magnificent 🎉
I love your appreciation of the aesthetics of the little, seemingly insignificant things on the car 🙂.

Ha there’s some jobs I never wish to do again also…. Strapping a set of extractors onto a clevo springs to mind lol

Huge milestone Jason! You and Pete make a great team. Ever think about doing an entire project with him?

And it's ENGINE IN... with appropriate dollops of banter and verbal skulduggery along the way. And how many times did Peter trip over that jack, LOL
I know right lol his shin must be black
Awesome car!
You guys are doing a great job.
Now the fun bits :)

Great progress Jason, looking schmick.
Yeah I’m putting extractors on today… so much progress since ZF 45 …
Looking good Jason. Maybe I’ll see you at Harvies one day. 👍

@@BoyAnachronism01 yes. What a shame. They had a nice 69 Galaxie there years ago I should have bought.

Anytime you can is fine by me mate
What kind of sick person designed the internal door mechanisms?😅
A very twisted sick human …. I hear the same individual is responsible for coming up the the idea of strapping on extractors on a clevo

Hi Jason, I have a perfect ZF front bumper with over riders, do you need it for your project?
What brand is the engine levller Jason??
Not sure mate… it belongs to Peter and it’s back at his place now…
