Thanks for the video! Highly informative. You just gained a new subscriber :). I just won a big pink princess with lots of variegation on Ebay from an auction so I'm learning all that I can.
I thought when your PPP starts growing white on them with the green instead of pink they are getting too much light? The PPP is one of my favorite plants. I just trimmed mine for the 2nd time. Hopefully it will grow fuller. 🙏🙏
I enjoyed the entire video, as I have a reverted Pink princess with a little splash variegation, I am so excited to see your next video ♥️ stay amazing!
I have three pink princesses and both a white wizard and a tiny white princess. My pink princesses unfortunately have near to no variegation. I’m going to see what happens.
Your haircut/color is sooooooo flattering on you!!!! I wish PPP was a more cooperative plant! They just seem like more trouble than they are worth ya know?
Very informative and I hope to do the same cuttings on my PPP and Burgundy that I got a month ago. Plus I was bad and tried helping new leaf unfurl and I messed up the leaf. I’ll just need to wait for more leafs to come out and not touch it. It’s so hard not to. 😆
Your propagations have really paid off lol although they do seem like a lot of work to maintain 🤦🏽♀️🤔😆 By the way, your hair looks pretty with the new length 💁🏽♀️
They’re pretty easy once they’re rooted actually! It’s been fun to see the new leaves on each of them 😍😍 And thank you, I haven’t gotten a haircut since quarantine started 😅
I don't know why, but I've tried everything with my ppp. it doesn't really want to grow, maybe it's the substrate or I'm watering incorrectly. It could also be the climate. 😔 I have no idea. 😭 but i love this Plant💚
Aww how long have you had it? It’s definitely slowing down right now because of fall / winter. It might have been busy growing roots so it can put out some new leaves next year!
@@youriplant i have it now more than a year and she doesn't want to form any more roots for me. I've tried everything. But i don't give up on her😅 Thank you for your answer😃🌱
Just curious, I've just bought a Pink Princess that's clearly reverting. One of the older leaves is absolutely incredible and a couple of others are pretty good too, but none of those have a huge amount of stem variegation. Does the amount of variegation on the stem not matter as long as there is some? Also, some of the leaves appear to have variegation underneath but look totally burgundy on top. What causes this?
There's variegation in the inside portion of the stem too that isn't always visible! I've noticed that the more pink that shows on the stem, there's a higher chance that the leaves are more variegated. The variegation underneath isn't caused by anything in particular, just random chance like any other leaf!
Hello, I'm senior cjtizen and I wish i could have pink princess philo bec.jt very expensive here in the phil .I enjoy watching your vlog .thank you so much and stay safe,
Hello! I loved your video and thought it was very informative. I have a question: I got a PPP cutting that has no variegation on its leaf but does have the pink stripe on its stem. Does it have any chance of putting out any other variegated leaves in the future?
hi Youri! i was wondering if you have tips on hardening the new leaves? i just had a new leaf unfurl about 1.5 weeks ago and it still looks like it just unfurled :/
I just got two leaves cutting-one variegated with a variegated light strip on stem and another leaf with no variegation. Please anyone can suggest how shall I start
So what will happens to the burgundy princess after cutting it ? Will it turn green or will remain burgundy or perhaps will eventually produce pink again ?
It’s possible that it will show variegation again, but I think even if it does it will be low. I took another look at the leaves a few days ago and there’s light speckling of pink on the leaves but is very minimal. New leaf is coming soon so 🤞
it could be because of inconsistent humidity, or inconsistent watering! would really depend but if it's just one leaf and not the whole plant, it's probably fine :)
I’ve tried a few different soil mixes but I think it’s pretty easy going no matter what soil I put it in. Recently I’ve been using a well draining aroid mix (coco coir, chunky orchid bark, charcoal, nutricote) so I don’t need to worry as much about overwatering.
Oh no. I feel horrible! I was sold a "ppp cutting " and me being an idiot didn't doubt it and now that you mention it it's all burgundy and has no pink on the stem and has very few tiny dots of pink on the leaf 😭😭😭
It’s mostly due to luck but most of my cuttings have been nicely variegated so I can’t say how likely it is for them to revert because it’s only happened once for me
@@youriplant I figured it out, thanks! I just went back through the video. At first copied it from your description, so you may want to change that! (: congratulations on another great video. Thanks for sharing!! 💗

Oh noooo! This is coming from a good place cause I enjoy your channel. But after growing so many of these, the variegation doesn’t necessarily come from the stem. It’s not like the Albo. This type of Chimeric variegation is random and the stem may not show pink, but it will still push out Pink leaves. Sometimes you may think it’s reverting, but it’s not. Don’t cut your PPP’s no more! Not yet patiently waiting
Thank you so much for the great information! You explained it so well. I have a Pink Princess and a reverted. I know what to look for now!
Thanks for sharing this. I learned a lot. I appreciate that you have posted the updates. ♥️
hello! I loved the video and the technique. I have been using a ring light at night to illuminate the pink and I have had rose-colored leaves.
I love your videos and how you describe with details so I can understand. The close ups are so important if you need to learn, like me. Thank you🥰👍

So nervous watching this video lol. Can we have an update soon on the reverted stem
I ended up selling it to a local fb group but the new leaves had some pink in it so it turned out not to be fully reverted!
I’m getting mine in the post tomorrow, so excited! Thank you for your videos, I feel a lot more confident about not killing her immediately now 😅
You’re going to do great! Excited for you :)
It's exciting! My first one comes in the mail Thursday! These are the best videos for sure!!

Do you put ur PP outdoors? the pink leaves of my PP is fading i placed it outside on an open area but no direct sunlight but bright area.

I take a Q tip dipped in water and drip on unfurling leaf a few x a day, seems to help!🌱💚🤗

Hi! Thank you for dropping by and watching :)
Do you know it the stem having variegation also applies to the white princess ?
How is your pink princess, I’d love to have a cuttings. I am looking around my area but cant find any.
Hello! I loved your video and thought it was very informative. I have a question: I got a PPP cutting that has no variegation on its leaf but does have the pink stripe on its stem. Does it have any chance of putting out any other variegated leaves in the future?
it might put out variegation in the future, but you'll probably need to get lucky! hoping you get some pink in the future leaves!
What causes them to go orange? Mine cutting is slowly turning orange it seems and I can't find anything on it.
hi Youri! i was wondering if you have tips on hardening the new leaves? i just had a new leaf unfurl about 1.5 weeks ago and it still looks like it just unfurled :/
Hi Jaz! I think there isn't much to do besides to wait, I haven't seen anything about making leaves harden faster :)
@@youriplant thank u for the reassurance :)
Hi..I just notice your PPP leaves looks clean and shiny.. do you put anything in it?
I sometimes spray insecticidal soap which has a side effect of cleaning up the leaves!

You can get bigger leaves by giving it a pole to climb!

Just wondering where are you base? I wish to buy one of your rooted cuttings
Thank you so much for your interest but I am not currently selling plants!
Any updates on the small node?
Hi! I don't fully remember what happened to it, but I think I might have killed it :(
How much are you selling.? It’s 😍 beautiful
I’m not selling these :)
I love your videos ..😍👍👍
What is your medium for pink princess thanks
I use a chunky soil mix, I think it's ~50% fox farm potting soil (which has a decent amount of perlite), and ~50% orchiata bark.
Hi youri! What humidifier do you use for your plants? Also, I can’t find your Instagram. I type in plantomapp and nothing comes up.
Hi Deyon! I don’t use humidifiers for my plants, my home is quite humid! And my IG is “plantmomapp” not “plantomapp” :)
