Many Many thanx for this simple video. My PP was stagnant since 5 months . Clearly it was not dead but also not blooming . I just cut one node and propagated in water , saw small roots in a matter of 2 weeks and planted it in little soil. Not even one whole month and a new shoot has come out . TQ again .
Thank you so much for this video ! I like to explore all types of rare plants and I had recently purchased a pink princess. I thought there was something wrong with her but You had just confirmed that her leaves are just a little burnt. Now I don’t need to chop her up and start over lol.
Thank you so much baby doll !! I have an 8 foot pink princess that I just cut recently and I’ve been so afraid about propagating the top 4 feet, but with your advice, I’m sure to be OK! Xoxo
I followed you quite well. Thanks for the detailed info, I keep meaning to look up wet sick , yet you explained it ! I have 2 pink princess so ill be doing this soon. Thank you ! ❤
Thanks for the detailed video! I am happy with my plant overall but the newer leaves were increasingly coming out in smaller size and weird brown/reddish hues. I just took a couple of small cuttings to propagate in water in case the mother plant deteriorates. Fingers crossed! Your pink princess looks beautiful!
Mine looks exactly like yours. Its getting top heavy and i had to quickly stake it but im afraid to cut it because she's so pretty and is growing like crazy... I dont want to kill her 😢😢. Your's must be her sister !! Ps. she has new growth on the top and sides. New babies coming in at the soil line. Thanks so much.
the mother plant now has another leaf growing out of a new growth point :) yes its still viable just keep taking care of it regularly and youll get new growth soon!
I had a little philodendron with rotten roots, I've cut them and put the plant direct in water. Now the plant seem to grow a nev leaf. In your opinion, is it possible to let the plant grow for ever in water? Thanks a lot.
Hi! First time viewer here! I'll be back! I had hoped this would answer my need, but my problem is different from just propagating! Found other good info though! If you can answer this, I'd appreciate it! If not, well, I tried! 😁 My PPP was really pretty for a few months after I received her, but I think I let her sit in water too long after bottom watering. She went limp & never plumped back up. I unpotted her to look for root rot & she only had 2 roots, each about 1 in long! I stuck her in water. It's now 2 or 3 months later. The roots are exactly as they were before, but she has 2 new leaves! What do you think is going on & how do you suggest I proceed? Should I cut above those roots & start over in water? Cut & pot in perlite or soil w/ or w/o rooting hormone? Or leave her alone & wait longer? Thank you! Oh! Do you have a follow up for this video? I'd love to know your results! (Sorry! I didn't look at the date!)
I wanted one at one time, but now, I no longer want one. They grow to stringy to me, plus they tend to revert back to green. I shouldn’t have to propagate to get fuller plant’s.
If you use tape and make a checkerboard type pattern across the top of the jar with openings, your stupid cat 😁 will not mess with it and knock all your cuttings into the water, and drown everyone ! The tape will hold the leaf above the water and stop your meddlesome cat from messing them up ! 😁❤

You explained the process very well. I just bought a pink princess and I plan to do exactly what you did. Thank you.😘
I got four leaves from a wet stick! Thank you for this

I'm so happy I found you! I've been wondering how to cut mine back. But now that I watch this I almost think I'd cry. LOL

Any update on the roots? How many can you plant in one pot?
the roots all grew within 6 ish weeks :) I would plant no more than two in a pot and keep the pot pretty small ( 4 inches ) in the beginning.
i suggest sealing the freshly cut ends with candle wax just so there’s no bacteria growing when you put it in water 😊 don’t wanna get the plant sick
How well has that worked for you? I've seen that tip but have been scared to try lol
It works❤@@EmaleighRomero
Thank you for your tips🙂, i just propagated mine today, will it produce more pink? mine is just dark leaves😥
yes it should! I propagate when I find that the varigation is low, hoping yours gets more pink
Could you show how the plant looks now please

Great detailed video
Obrigada pela legenda em português ❤ não temos muito conteúdo desses aqui. ❤
Question, I tried propagating in water and all my leaves started wilting and dying, what did I do wrong?
Update video please!!!
Thanks
Never heard of wet stick.
I kept meaning to look it up and she explained it. Cool, huh ?
Update?

And then what happened….. do you have a follow upB

I'm very sorry but your explanation was all over the place and I couldn't understand. Jumping from point to point? Not sure even what you did 😂
It was pretty self-explanatory. Maybe I can help? What didn't you understand? ❤
