I found this video great, thank you for sharing; I got my first philodendron Burgundy pink princess and regardless if it turns pink or not I’ll still love her!
Beautiful plant and great information. Thanks for sharing 🙂
im so happy they've gotten more cheaper due to rise of demand, i got mine from Walmart and it already had 3 other buds growing and had the most variegation from the rest. i got the half pink leaf but hoping for a full pink soon. and I only got it for 25!

Pretty kitty. Love the Pink Princess too! :)
Thank you so much for valuable advice! I have two pieces of pink princess but I have been noticing they are not doing well. I really would like to save them and thanks to you I finally have an idea abou what to improve. I am going to explore your channel. I hope to find advice on stretlitzias. You are doing a great job here! Thank you!

I just got 2 at wegmans for $10 and I’m so happy! Thank you for sharing the Pon culture. I have most my alocasias in pon, but didn’t know if I could transition my philos
I just received my pink princess about two weeks ago from Steve's Leaves and she is amazing! She was listed as a reverted type but her newest leaf is about 45% pink and there are 4 more leaves to come! Her stem is pink!! I love her and your tips are great!!
Thanks for sharing!! Your pink princess has a lot of potential and definitely good genes. Excited for you~
I had a small PPP but it was just a baby, so it was kinda brown-ish. I didn’t have the time or experience to chop it up and wait to see what would happen. Def worth getting a more mature specimen and spending more money I think! I will still wait on it, even though a pink plant is so cute and beautiful 😊. Thanks for the tips!
They’ve got pink princess at Walmart this month. Probably not the highest quality variegation but the ones I saw still had a decent amount of pink on them. I think they were like $20 or so.
no wayyy! that's a crazy good deal. sometimes the pink color comes out more as they mature. hope you got one!
@@FelineJungle I actually had no idea they were considered that valuable as I don’t really follow houseplant trends but I work for one of the greenhouse companies contracted out by Walmart so I did get a couple pups for free ;) I was surprised to find that people paid so much for them when I went looking for care tips
Very helpful video.
I got my first (and only)pink princess half a year ago, as a small cutting with rotten roots. Fortunately she produced new roots in water and high humindity. After that I put her into airy soil, she grew two ney leafs and many roots, but now stopped growing. Maybe because of the dropping temperatures? (night 17°C - day 19°C in my kitchen). Can you tell a bit about the minimum temperatures for them?
Wow
the pink variegation isn't stable, if it starts growing solid green leaves, pay attention to variegation in the stem. Cut back above the node of the last leaf with pink in it. Its no guarantee the new growth will have more pink but its a chance if the new growth grows from the part of the stem that has variegation.
Didn't know the pink princess is so exprensive in the US. I bought mine for $8 in my country 😅
I got mine as a free gift with a couple of plants I bought. From Pakistan 😁
Got 2 pots with 7 plants total at walmart for $10 total!

Wow your local nursery has all the good hook up!! I love the backside of a verrucosm. Hope you get one as well
Which grow lights do you like? My pink princess started very pink and is going very green 😅
What happened to the plant with the full pink leaf? Did you get more pink leaves?
❤❤❤😊
These go for about 10.00 or a bit more. And they come from the carolinas.
Your first plant, you got ripped! 🤣😅😂
Somebody can help me, they can grow just in water like pothos?
Can cold Temps bring out them colors? In cannabis it's a way we pull colors out of certain cultivars. Some will do it naturally but alot need cold Temps for colors to show. Or is it all genetics with them?
I have some cacti that are temperature dependant for certain colors to present themselves, so I'd assume it's a distinct possibility
Hello my dear
I bought pink Princess plant 2 years ago but it’s not growing getting bigger. Please suggest me.
From Uk
Get a plant light for it and a watering meter to help with keeping a consistent soil moisture 😊
How do you prune dead leaves on this
What’s pons?
What is the ponds growing medium you talked about?
I scored I guess! I just got a gorgeous highly variegated lots of pink at Walmart!! $25
So which of those tips is for getting more pink? Did i miss something?
I got this pink variety in my local nursery for 500 rupees which is equal to 7 dollar 🤡. Its quite cheap here
4 months after this video, I'm surprised people are still buying high var for even $50.
Here in BC, Canada they're $30 at Home Depot, $16.99 at local nursery.
BJs has them for 11.99
I feel that pink leaves die fast. I have has 2 leaves with 30% pink leaves and they died. The green leaves no problem
That is true from my experience as well. the pink is a mutation that makes it lack chlorophyll
PON no d
Colombia, with two o's. It's a very common mistake but I thought I'd mention it as I was very happy to see you going into details on the plant's origins.
omg! I knew that but should've done a double check on the subtitles. Thank you for pointing that out!
