Over a year later and I gotta say, you know you made a good tutorial when you don't need to do voice overs or text instructions. Appreciate it
Thanks!
Thanks for this very helpful tutorial and happy blending with blender.
glad it helps!
this was like taking a warm bath after a hard day's work on snow-capped mountains.
god i hate the snow mountain haha. I gave up for now. This is so nice. plus it's almost pre-textured as is.
Very nice tut. Clever solution for distance fog. Reminds me to some Myst games.
thank you, glad you like it, never played a myst game but i have seen some pictures and totally agreed.
Love this! Thanks for showing your process, I like the added touch of the buildings and the photoshopping to take it to another level. What hardware are you using for those fast viewport renders?
thanks, ryzen 5 3600x and 1080 gtx
Great tutorial!
thanks, glad you like it.
Fantastic. Thank you so much :)
Glad you like it.
If anyone has a problem with not finding the adaptive subdivision, remember to turn on Experimental mode in Cycles.
Amazing.
thank you.
I managed to do this (after a few hours tweaking pretty much everything) and I'm so gratefull! It's absurd how good this is taking into account that there is not a single texture on the mountains/water.
Factastic!
Thanks! true, is amazing the level of detail we can achieve with this method.
Is it possible to add a directional texture (like canyon rock layers that are horizontally separated) onto a displaced noise terrain like this one? I'm trying to figure it out but it doesn't seem to work even with box projection.
Can I use it for a video
Dude use voice or don't make videos it's 2022
Bruh, atleast the intro isnt half the video like many voice people do
