I really like the idea of being smart with money. That holds to be true for everyone but especially the self-employed, entrepreneur and creatives. Best success to everyone in 2018!

Having an emergency fund gives peace of mind.
Believing in yourself, your abilities and your ability to figure things out also bring peace of mind.
Believing in God and that people will help you also brings peace of mind.
So be practical, realistic and have utmost belief that everything happens for the best and that you will never be in a position that you can't bear.

Love the bit about finances, that should be taught in 8th grade!! I have hustled since I was 12 and mowing lawns, babysitting every night, studying pre reqs in freshman level highschool, trying to figure out how to do nursing to pay my way in such a way that it did greatest good and continue studying sociology outside of classes, while writing even if it meant set cruise control and use steering wheel as desk.Still haven't done all I want to, health issues are hard mountain to climb but not being able to work for 5 yrs and having to live off savings is possible only because I have always lived well below my means, even now.

There are things I love about your new studio; the photo of you and Oprah, the typewriter, the light bulbs and oh goodness the books! 😍😍 I do however wish you still included some greenery in the new set. Your fiddle leaf fig in the last set was gorgeous! I think a good sized peace lily or a monstera deliciosa or a good sized Dieffenbachia would be perfect for the new set. Ciao!

Of the three, being smarter about growing/“flipping” my money is my priority. I have no fear of shortened opportunities, and it has created a flow of more consistent and diverse streams of income. My challenge is to be more disciplined as I earn more, and make my money earn more/grow. My ambition is not to earn more to that I can buy more, but to earn more so that I can invest more into high Impact ideas and enterprises.

Be smarter about money is my main goal this year. I liked to spent every single dollar I made and regretted at the end cause I felt like I worked for nothing because at the end I had $0 in my bank account. I'm starting small by saving $100 a month and hopefully will save more in the future.

    1. Double down on ambition
Lose your hunger lose your edge. If humans don’t have something meaningful to work on we tend to get lost pretty fast
    2. Guarantees do not exist.
    3. Learn to be good with money. Always live on less than you make.

This is something I think about constantly as well and i think in the past year ive fully embraced and found somewhat of a balance of achieving both. It always seems like its one or the other but im slowly finding out that i can achieve both if im just good with time & money management. Its now about how can I work smarter than longer & harder. Thanks Marie!

Interesting to say that beeing grateful and not accept where they are at life are two different things, which is, but I might get confused with it sometimes. I just wonder if this longing for more thing will stay that great and not make me feel exhausted some day... but why be afraid of the future, when I can stay in the now and enjoy. I will check out the video you recommended about having peace and stay hungry.

Hiya 3 really good points. On point 3, my problem is is now I have saved the money for my business, I found I am too afraid to spend it. I start penny pinching. For example I would rather make some products myself and make a 400% make up instead of buying from someone although making it takes up more of my time. How to work this out?
