Hi, everyone I have a secret for you reveal. The reason why the United States of America and the Vatican keep delayed time by playing the voting game between President Biden with President Trump even though they know their children is going to die for no reason because if the Tibet and India know Pope Francisco does not want to see Holy Dalai Lama but he sent a Vietnamese came to Tibet say Vatican and NATO will liberate the Tibet and India. In contrary; every time NATO visit any country, Pope Francisco will visit that country. They do know the Vatican had done with Tibet 's citizens, thus they don't even say sorry. Secondly; I hope the India' citizens please pay attention. Don't you think this is disrespectful. Please tell me your comments Sincerely Thanks
Omg please have her back!!! She is a freakn super star! Wait but what did she said about showing competence? Mel I just discovered your podcast this week - YOURE GOOOOOOD! I’m amazed how you often summarize your guests’ points for your audience in a very easy clean way that we could all reflect n register. You’re a superstar! Thank you for your podcast - discovering so many good info n new guests out there from you!
You two are SUCH a gift to this world and I’m extremely blessed to have found these videos with Vanessa! What a GEM!!!! I learned so much and I’m so excited to implement everything. THANK YOU GIRLS!!!!! 🫂♥
Vanessa drew me in (instantly) after the girl-crush subsided I realized she did have that aura of warmth and competence. I re-watched and saw how she moved her hands and her body language and how it reflects these emotions. I've been reading up on this kind of stuff and it's a trait ANYONE can learn if you study and practice. I feel that most of us grew up with bad communication skills and examples thus we may not have had the opportunity to thrive like others, but as an adult you can take control of your life and learn these skills and with determination, humor and an open mind you can become charismatic and more influential. Thanks this episode was amazing and so informative!
Hi Robbins thank you so much for sharing this great podcast info. Glad I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I feel happier and living my life for myself . This is to encourage someone “you can start anytime to have a reset it’s worth it! I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗
¿Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on... I hope it is useful to you:)
>¿I learnt to be frugal, minimal on spending, saving and paying myself first through Investing, made Plans, growing passive income, Read a lot of books on finance, followed my plan consistently:)
Mel, you’re amazing at getting out the best of each guest and highlighting the key takeaways. Thank you, thank you, thank you. An amazing choice of guest. Loved every second of it. Everything was so actionable and logical. Can’t wait to incorporate these into my life as a ‘recovering awkward person’ myself. So grateful ❤ Vanessa, this was brilliant. Your research is brilliant. The way you share it with us is brilliant. Thank you for blessing us with your warmth and competence. I’ll be checking more of your stuff out for sure. Your findings are genius and beyond helpful.
I love this, how fascinating!! I just wondered, I'm from the UK we are considered quite conservative and stiff upper lip, quite cold I have realised being a warm person that Brits are more untrusting with that personality. Also Australians and New Zealanders speak every sentence as a question, how does that come across too? Thank you I am LOVING this podcast!! ❤
Great questions! I'm so glad you loved this episode ❤ As a Brit, you might find that the reserved and understated style of communication common in the UK might be perceived as cold or untrusting by people from cultures where warmth and expressiveness are more valued. However, it’s important to remember that these are generalizations and individuals within a culture can vary greatly in their communication styles. As for Australians and New Zealanders, the specific speech pattern you’re referring to can sometimes be perceived as uncertainty or lack of confidence, but within Australian and New Zealand culture, it’s a normal part of speech and doesn’t carry these connotations.
*Leans in* this was *hand gesture* By far, one of the most interesting and informative podcasts I've ever heard! Mel you're a rockstar for bringing Vanessa. Vanessa, thank you, thank you, thank you!
I think charisma also equals inner authenticity and the willingness to share your authentic self and some experiences with others to help others understand that they can overcome any obstacle they may see in front of them by taking what works for them from a personal experience you share with them.💯💓
I will schedule trials. I only get a skill when I don't think about it, I dream and miss all skill building, I mean it is practicing. I once had confidence and goals, now incoherent, you can be variable I mean.
This chat is THE BOMB! 💥💥💥 So many gems! Thank you thank you thanks to BOTH of you! I've sat thru this twice with months apart and soaked it up each time! Brilliant work Mel + Vanessa! ❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤

Power packed and loaded with takeaways. The value I got from this episode is beyond words and measure. Very grateful to you both.I ended up making my family also listen to it. Thanks so much.

This is interesting because I was told in corporate level that I cared too much of my clients and was wasting time when I just really wanted to help them.. so easier said than done.
I am naturally a very warm person. I've worked in healthcare for 30 years, and needed patients to trust me. Because I am engaging and warm, but also competent, I was very successful.
Def deserves view for shining light on those of us that struggle with anxiety/mental illness (the neglected population) on how to develop habits to display charisma!
What surprises me most is how incredibly amazed Mel appears to be about these techniques and skills, such as body language, warmth, and competence, that she effortlessly applies every day. Mel, you are truly charismatic!
WoW just listened today Wednesday 22Feb23 sooo good! Plus it’s all based on research! Loved it so much, I had to share with my sister who is a leader, and educator in public schools! She strives to motivate teachers to create cultures that help kids feel safe so they can grow to be successful adults. This talk and Vanessa Van Edwards books will help the educators and the students!!!🎉

Hi, Mel! Thanks for having Vanessa over for this talk! I know about her reasearch on behaviour and social cues and for me your talk was so resourceful! Great job!🎉❤
Mel Robbins, I'd like to see Vanessa code teachers; people can learn so much from the way teachers communicate, not to mention the lessons teachers can learn from these communication gems. Great podcast!!!!!
Wow first time I've ever seen a video where someone was gonna teach you something and they actually did usually they beat around the bush and talk around it I'll actually look into her stuff because she gave real learning
Fantastic Podcast. I think this impacts a majority of people, even those with natural charisma. Thank you for interviewing an SME that has lived through her own personal charisma, purpose intent and confidence skill building. Well Done.
For ppl (like me) with Aspergers- this is invaluable!!!! I can't read social cues, misread them and don't know what to do- or what I may be doing right. Thanks!!
I actually stopped listening to the audio podcast and came over to UA-cam so I could see the visual cues as well as the hear the great conversation between you two. A family member is sequestered with COVID right now and we're all keeping our distance from each other and masking to try to stop the spread -- my husband just came to the doorway to check on me. I'm sitting at the far end of the room and I look down and his toes are pointing right at me. I smiled (a genuine smile) and sat up, squared my body to his, pointed my toes back at him, and then he blew me a kiss! Already putting this conversation into practice, so thanks!
Two of my favorite coaches!! Both you and Vanessa excel at drilling down, researching, and sharing a wealth of actionable advice delivered in a relatable way. I learn so much from you both, in podcasts, videos and books. Having the energy of two brilliant, insightful, creative and caring people together is powerful and inspiring!! Thank you.
Fascinating and informative discussion. What is so cool is that I have been doing so many of the elements Vanessa shares, without realizing it's part of the charisma realm. I have been told by friends and strangers that the vibes I give off are warm and inviting so it allows the person to feel comfy and open up to me, even if I just met them. As an Empath, it's easy to feel and express to make the environment easy going. Intuition plays a huge role. Bring the others in towards you versus pushing them away. Authenticity is huge!! I can't do fake. Thank you for this session Mel. 😊👍💕
I am highly warm. I need to work on seeming highly capable. I'm an introvert bit when I'm around people, i talk way too much, probably partly because of ADHD and partly because of awkwardness.
Am I wrong in beleving that charisma is a natural result of being absolutely genuine and sensitive to the feelings of and helping others? I'm old, 66, but I own the blues! That's me. I'm a blues singer. I do rock, funk and jazz but I'm a blues singer..I do that. I feel extremely powerful and for me, means that I'm with them in song to comfort them when they feel that they have no one who understands. I believe that being genuine is a key.
Masterclass is right, @melrobbins! I’m only a third of the way into this video and it is, by far, the most informative and actionable video I’ve watched in years. I love that you give viewers immediate, easy to follow tips that we can practice right along with you and put into practice right away.
THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST PODCAST OF THE MEL ROBBINS SHOW! I ALREARY BOUGHT THE VANESSA'S AND MEL'S BOOKS. PLEASE BRING VANESSA BACK AGAIN? MEL'S A GREAT INTERVIEWER! 🥰
I have been selected for several interviews recently, because of my experiences and abilities. However, some feedback was that I wasn't excited enough (a cheerleader, high warm). Although I asked many questions, did my research, and proved that I was highly capable. I actually dropped out of the process because deep down I knew that I am not capable of being a warm cheerleader. I prefer to be respected for my intelligence, and work ethic. I was actually very upset about this and just figured I wasn't the right fit. Funny how that made me feel insecure...
This episode is fantastic, I am listening to it over and over again. As an introvert I must say I had been feeling awful my whole life not to be able to keep eye contact the whole time during a conversation, so this has reassured me that there is nothing wrong with me😊 Thank you so much❤
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this episode! I have seen Vanessa on a few different podcasts, however, this one was my favorite. Love how Mel gets her out of her normal shpeal and on a real level! :)
I love, love, love this podcast! I'm an introvert and also have adult ADHD and this is so helpful for me. Vanessa, thank you, lots of huumm and lots of leanings forwards for you 🤩 I want MORE, I need your book. Now, I'm obsessed about this topic. Mel you are amazing 👏❤️ your mission of helping people to better themselves that an amazing purpose. I'm coming for a Spanish family and Spanish is my first language, speaking and writing English is really hard for me and it makes me feel insecure and I hate misspelling......but I'm working on better myself and this helps me a lot. My favorite podcast so far!
I am seriously hearing impared. I seriously notice what the face and body are saying which allows me to connect in a deeper way with others by doing this I can make up for some of what am missing in my hearing. Hearing impared people use their other senses to make up for what they may have missed. I am so thankful for that!
A big thank to both of you for such a great discussion ! I love Mel’s practical questions and how Vanessa answers them with great examples and enthusiasm! ❤
👏Thank you ! thank you soooo much. I really needed to listen to these brilliant words… thank you Mel for bringing Vanessa to us all 😊a huge hug for you!!!
I love this! When on a date, I don't like to sit across from the date because so many people think if you look away from them then you are sketch. This podcast is the truth though!
Thank you Thank you Thank you Mel. For the powerful and empowering tips from the expert on verbal, and none-verbal communication who is going to help me improve. My warmth and honesty in how I interact with myself and, with others in my personal and professional relationships. 😊🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️💜💜
This is a FASCINATING conversation! So so helpful and applicable to every situation. I'm going to use these tips to improve the relationship with my kids and on interviews. I loved the question on how to handle disrespect- so applicable to interactions with teenagers! All schools should be training Teachers and Principals with this info to improve student' success. This video is so worth the time! Thank you! This is my first time seeing your channel. Will check out more of your videos.
Totally the most amazing podcast, and it’s video,I have ever listened to/watched! 31 years in law enforcement and 27 in direct sales and the nuggets learned from Vanessa are important additions to what I previously have learned and been exposed to! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.
Mel, thank you for this podcast! I look forward to Mondays and Thursdays to hear what you have for us. This is great and something I feel daily and I am going to share with my daughter. Can you do a show on ADHD? I was just diagnosed last year at 38 and I believe my girls have it too. learning how to manage this has been overwhelming and stressful. I could definitely use some tips and suggestions on podcasts that talk about Women with ADHD.
Revisiting this to share tools with my grad students on their interview skillz -- I love how Mel around 40 mins actually struggles with demonstrating up-speak -- thanks for this content and all your team shares 🙏
I got drawn in by the title and the first thing I did was grab a notebook of pain right down the title of this and start taking notes, which is something I rarely ever do but not this time!!❤
👋OMGosh watched this twice, once listening while working but had to come over to YT and watch it!!! Laughed so much. LOVE this topic, just wish I could have known all this while working in an office and courtroom. Well, I know now. Thank you Mel & Vanessa. 🌻
I am naturally warm and need to focus on projecting competence. The warms cues absolutely help me to get better quality interviews out of job applicants. When the applicant can feel more at ease and you’re signaling “I like/am interested in what you’re telling me”, believe me people will speak longer and more honestly. You get such a better sense of the person when you can do this. Also makes it less painful for the person. We almost universally hate job interviews, right?
Mel . I loved, loved , loved this podcast!!! Love Vanessa. I’m a diehard introvert and will be practicing these skill sets at work TOMORROW. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this video.
My goodness! So many gold nuggets were given on this episode. Thank you for having Vanessa on this podcast, I was taking notes while listening and now I feel so inspired!
Mel, that was one of the most AWSOME Podcast I’ve ever experienced! I am looking forward to using these “gifts” in my everyday interaction with other to build better, warmer, connections. And Mel….I love you!
I love you too dear Mel! You are the best you tuber I know and I’ve been learning from you tubers for the last 15 years! Thank you so much for your love & passion and all of your amazing videos! I respect and honour your work and contribution to a better world so much! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you dear Mel !!!! 🙏🫶💕🚀🔥✨⭐️💓😘🥰💗🌸👍
This is SO INTERESTING! the leaning in answer many my curiosity, my ex use to get so awkward (introvert) when I leaned closer on video calls when's she talking or doing something, she actually would start blushing, shy smile, wave her hands and ask me to lean back a little cause I was too close to the camera😮 I was always curious why. The voice tone too. I'm very aware of how my voice tone changes interacting with people or certain people and I notice these in her tone too...When she spoke with me it was a very gentle and soft tone. With people around and at work it was harder and heavier per se. It was interesting to hear.
Thank you very much, Vanessa and Mel, for sharing. This may explain how I have been misunderstood, ( so many ways ), in my life. Absolutely fascinated by this realization, but, also feel a good bit of relief. God Bless You Both 🙏💗
I hope you enjoyed today’s masterclass with our awesome guest Vanessa Van Edwards and got some valuable nuggets from it. If so, drop a like 👍 and subscribe to get notified when I drop more amazing content like this!

Please make a podcast on making mistakes and how not to regret and move on ..
Hi Sejal, such a good thought!
I need that right now.
Yes!! That's (failure) how ive learned how to trust me. LOL
This is a great one!
Check out Daniel Pink's work on Regret. Hope it helps
This is perhaps one of “the most” informative presentations on bettering our human communication strategies. 🙌✨❤️

Congratulations sis! Thanks for encouraging others with your story, I will love to get tips from you too
¿Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on...
I hope it is useful to you:)
¿How did you grow to 6 Figure ? I’m honestly trying to work on my personal Fina nce this year.:)
Congratulations to you that's a great accomplishment keep it going
>¿I learnt to be frugal, minimal on spending, saving and paying myself first through Investing, made Plans, growing passive income, Read a lot of books on finance, followed my plan consistently:)
This is sooo good. I am learning about myself so much and it's very refreshing.
That’s so great to hear! ❤
That quote is gold! “Your need to be liked is getting in the way of being respected”
🙌🏻
I find you two absolutely warm and competent= charismatic!!💕
❤❤
Mel, you’re amazing at getting out the best of each guest and highlighting the key takeaways. Thank you, thank you, thank you. An amazing choice of guest. Loved every second of it. Everything was so actionable and logical. Can’t wait to incorporate these into my life as a ‘recovering awkward person’ myself. So grateful ❤
Vanessa, this was brilliant. Your research is brilliant. The way you share it with us is brilliant. Thank you for blessing us with your warmth and competence. I’ll be checking more of your stuff out for sure. Your findings are genius and beyond helpful.
Yessss omg!!! I'm married to a highly competent husband & I'm highly warm!!
I'm so glad you loved this episode ❤
As a Brit, you might find that the reserved and understated style of communication common in the UK might be perceived as cold or untrusting by people from cultures where warmth and expressiveness are more valued.
These two women together is insane. Couldn't love this episode more.
Thank you so much ❤ I appreciate you!
Yes, Mel. Charisma lets you express yourself authentically without the worry of other peoples' judgements and/or opinions.💯💓
🙌🏻💕

Holy moly this was the most extraordinary knowledge and technique based videos I have seen. Thank you Vanessa !
You are so welcome! ❤
I have interesting dreams when I sleep-listen to your videos.
I’ve been in DESPERATE need of every piece of advice in this interview!
Thank you so much!
Opera is a master manipulator. What a terribly liberal example.
Ironically, the guest was kind of nervous and didn’t seem super confident.
I will schedule trials. I only get a skill when I don't think about it, I dream and miss all skill building, I mean it is practicing. I once had confidence and goals, now incoherent, you can be variable I mean.

Vanessa is a fountain of information. Really good presentation! What a lot of energy and ‘giving’ she shared with us.
This is interesting because I was told in corporate level that I cared too much of my clients and was wasting time when I just really wanted to help them.. so easier said than done.
I just love Mel. I'm so grateful to have resources like this to help me learn and develop myself. Let's just keep getting better and better. 😊

I am highly warm. I need to work on seeming highly capable. I'm an introvert bit when I'm around people, i talk way too much, probably partly because of ADHD and partly because of awkwardness.
I hear you! It's definitely possible to work balancing out your warmth and competence ❤
This is universal for everyone because everyone can grow from this. Fantastic, thank you both.
❤
❤
Wow! This video is one of the best ! Thank You! I really needed that. ❤
Our pleasure ❤ Thank you for watching!
Excellent and informative
Thank you! I'm so glad ❤
This episode is fantastic, I am listening to it over and over again. As an introvert I must say I had been feeling awful my whole life not to be able to keep eye contact the whole time during a conversation, so this has reassured me that there is nothing wrong with me😊 Thank you so much❤
I'm so glad this episode was reassuring ❤ Thanks for watching!
Mel, you have the IT factor for sure! You are intelligent, a fantastic speaker, and are hilarious! Thanks for all the work you put in!👌🏻
Yep, I was very guilty of it…. Being very warm towards complete strangers…
Took me a while to train my way of thinking’s/reacting… Feels better now !😊
Wow…you just made me feel WONDERFUL! People trust & love me & I thought it was because I’m happy & fun. I MUST also be charismatic!
👏🏻 that’s great to hear!
So soo happy to hear this ❤ I appreciate you!
wow! fantastic. I loved this video
I'm so glad ❤Thank you!!
I am seriously hearing impared. I seriously notice what the face and body are saying which allows me to connect in a deeper way with others by doing this I can make up for some of what am missing in my hearing. Hearing impared people use their other senses to make up for what they may have missed. I am so thankful for that!
MEL THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!! LOTS OF LOVE 💕 HAVE A BLESSED BEAUTIFUL BENEVOLENT WEEK!
Mel Robbins, that’s who has the IT factor!! Love you Mel, and btw, you’ve never looked better!

The information being shared here is phenomenally important in the world of communication, and Vanessa's book is now on my reading list!
Love to hear this! 🙏🏻
I love this! When on a date, I don't like to sit across from the date because so many people think if you look away from them then you are sketch. This podcast is the truth though!
🙌🏻
I’m so happy to hear this! Thank you for watching ❤
Totally the most amazing podcast, and it’s video,I have ever listened to/watched! 31 years in law enforcement and 27 in direct sales and the nuggets learned from Vanessa are important additions to what I previously have learned and been exposed to! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.
Too bad that the name of the main contributor is waaaaay waay waaay down at the bottom of the long description.
You’re very welcome ❤
You amazed me once again!
I’m so glad! 🙏🏻
I got drawn in by the title and the first thing I did was grab a notebook of pain right down the title of this and start taking notes, which is something I rarely ever do but not this time!!❤
Oh I'm so happy to hear that! ❤
Vanessa is fantastic!
Thank you so much! ❤
Was just gonna lissen 30 min then the rest tomorrow, but the time was flying here really good and competative. Thanx.
😍 this is so great to hear!

❤❤
The Absolute Best Video I have ever listened to , watched and learned from Ever!!!!! I will listen to this again and again !!!!
What an amazing guest Mel. Thank you so much for bringing these high impact hacks into our lives. So helpful.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this episode! 🥰
This was so epic! I’m so proud of you, following your dreams and knowing what you want and becoming more and more YOU ❤️
❤❤
Please tell me your comments
Sincerely Thanks
Mel, you have helped me to change my life.
Thank you very much, Vanessa and Mel, for sharing. This may explain how I have been misunderstood, ( so many ways ), in my life. Absolutely fascinated by this realization, but, also feel a good
bit of relief. God Bless You Both 🙏💗
I’m so glad this episode had a positive impact for you 💕 thank you for watching!
