Thanks for sharing. The small glimpses you show of the baby are adorable and appreciated. I've followed you since you lived in Canada with the upstairs bedroom loft....literally the beginning.I say that to acknowledge that we know your resilience and fortitude, and I see those qualities have only developed immensely through all your endeavors...especially motherhood. I admire your strength and fierce determination, and I'm a forever supporter. Rock on girl🤟🏾✨️🙌
Aww thank you! Appreciate it ❤
Hello- I’m 38 and had my first baby a few months after you Lauren- I would say it’s not easier than I thought but it’s better than I thought. I was under the impression that having a baby was 99% horrible 1% amazing where that 1% was so amazing it outweighed the fact that mostly it was horrible- it’s why I thought I wanted to be child free for most of my life. This has not been my experience at all and I’d say it’s 95% amazing. I think people tend to equate hard with bad, but I’m realizing they’re not the same thing at all. Glad to hear you’re generally doing well!
Yes I was totally on the same page as you!!! I get it ❤
"people equate hard with bad, but theyre not the same thing at all" this is beautifully said! such a healthy realization to have. God bless you and your family ❤
I think age and the amount of children play a part as well.
Thanks again Lauren for sharing with us many chapters of your life, sending lots of love to you and the baby ❤
you're really calming me down about having a baby, im in my 20s but it is something i stress about especially the pregnancy part, i lowkey wish to have twins and be one and done with it lol, it is inspiring to see you being so strong about this and also being vegan really makes me happy to know that you are able to handle yourself and sustain your son. Love to see you being so trusting with this journey, much love to you and your son Lauren, truly wishing you all the best ❤
well that's nice to hear!!
Scorpio Sister, I'm so happy to hear that motherhood has been easy for you. I've been watching you since 2014 and to say you taught me how to cook is an understatement. I have had a journey with being childfree vs having a child and it makes my heart sing that you chose to be a mother. I'm 33 and childfree but maybe, someday, soon-ish, I'm thinking of changing that. My three year old nephew brings me so much joy I could burst. Intuition is so important especially with these things. I also did my first reiki session which was super eye and soul-opening. Cheers (with full coffee cups) to our futures.
oh wow, thank you for sharing! I love reiki
I would love to see a "what I eat in the day/week" for both you and the baby if you're down to share it! I'm just starting food with my little guy and I've always loved how real and approachable your what I eat in a days are!
I prob will do that. I've been sharing more on IG of what the baby eats
Thank you Lauren! I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and I am so thankful for all of the different videos you've made around your pregnancy and then becoming a mom. I find myself getting anxious but I need to remember to just trust my intuition like you said you did/do. You're the best! Thank you again
congrats!! you got this xo
Missed your videos here! You are a glowing mama ❤️ so so happy for you and your joy in motherhood. Thanks for sharing with us 😊
Thank you so much!!
Wow! I have missed a lot! So good to have found you again!!
Welcome back! thank you!
I agree with a lot of what you have said. I don’t think parenting is super difficult, but what is challenging is balancing being full time working mom, cooking, cleaning all the things… and spending quality time with my son. They are always all worth it though ❤️
Absolutely!!
Welcome back! So happy to see you and hear what you have to share ❤
Thank you so much!!
single mom? oh dear, I'm sorry, I had no idea
77c4 ❤
I always root for you lauren! I have been binging your old videos .
You're the best! Thank you 😊
Wow what a great way to start off my morning 💛🤗☀️ you seem very happy Lauren
Thanks for the video 👌
You are so welcome! 😊
i've missed these #AskLauren's so much!!
thanks for answering my question about licensing your recipes to make consumer products! i’ve been looking forward to that baring fruit ever since you mentioned it. sorry to hear that it’s been tricky to find the right connections but very glad to hear that you’re still working on it!!
I’m loving the new hair, you look so good! ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Thank you for sharing, Lauren! I was so excited to see you upload another video to UA-cam. I love that you’re sharing these parts of your life. My baby is four months old and I have been able to relate to so much that you have discussed. Parenthood is tough but all the more fantastic. I had so many reservations for most of my life about the topic. I definitely had a difficult 3-month postpartum experience, but coming out of that, I can’t explain how wonderful it is. I love being a mum! Take care. I look forward to seeing more from you. ❤
thank you so much for sharing and watching xo

no prob!
I think I feel exactly the same, like I’m more afraid of being a mom than anything else. I feel like I could be awesome, but everything else that comes with it is what I fear most. Disease, the world, the people, the dangers… Idt I can handle that.
I had all those fears, but in the end I'm glad I changed my mind
@@LaurenToyota I may be there too, I feel it more and more that I want that, just for myself. Idk if I want to share it with someone or do it alone. It’s tough.
Im so glad you got out of that relationship. Red flags left and right from 10 minute edited videos. 😬 You seem at peace now.
Agreed! Telling a pregnant woman she looked haggard was shocking. Also not being receptive to her nerves on the day of the c-section was saddening.
Saying “you look haggard” is reason to split up?!! I think it was more than that. Sad. He seemed cool
LOL
i’m currently 28 weeks pregnant and have to say your health bills are much lower than mine! i’m likely going to be paying $6000 minimum for labor and delivery because that’s our deductible, and the bloodwork and NIPT testing so far has been over $1500 so far. i used to have kaiser and have to say they are some of the best coverage in terms of costs. unfortunately we moved and they don’t cover us here.
also agree with regards to being plant based during pregnancy. some other women would criticize me for not eating meat but i have had 0 desire or craving for it. idk why people think that doctors will advise you to eat meat, i don’t think that really happens.
thanks for sharing your experience, has been fun to catch up with your experience while i’m going through this pregnancy as a first time mom and being in my 30s. ❤ i also was not interested in having kids until about 2 years ago so i can relate to that as well.
Hi Lauren....I just got a membership...i'm excited to start exploring : )

Why did you decide to give birth in the US when you could have given birth in canada
because I moved to LA
I need to money pls help me
Being a single mom is not fun. I will only accept it if my partner dies.
LOL I prefer it
Not everyone has a choice!
You should have another child - they'll keep each other company. And breasfeed as long as you can.
Why would you say that? It’s very insensitive and reductive to make a comment like this
Comments like yours are problematic in so many ways, no matter what the intention. Never say this to people. Terrible.
As someone who was born to keep my older brother company, I disagree. We are sadly not close and never have been.
It's not anyone's business but hers. You'll think having another child is like making another roti huh?
On the diabetes factor, being vegan does not prevent you from getting it because many vegans consume high amounts of fat which is what causes diabetes. So please don’t go ham on high fat foods/oils and you will be safe from it. WFPBNO is the one single way to completely avoid that. Just wanted to share that bit of information. Dr John McDougall goes over this on his channel on diabetes if you wanted to know more. 🥹 just wanting to be helpful so you understood vegans are at risk eating processed/high fat stuff stuff.
