Thank you so much for sharing these intimate moments of your life during your pregnancy process. As a person who wants kids, but is also terrified of being pregnant, it's super refreshing to actually hear a different perspective of the journey that isn't just the typical enthusiastic, overjoyed, loving-being-pregnant kind of attitude. It's amazing if people feel that way, but I feel like it's hardly ever shared if you feel anything less than positive and happy about it because of societal shame or guilt. 🙄 Anyway, looking forward to more of these! So glad everything went well in the end with your baby. ❤

I love this. He is so clearly an amazing & supportive partner, which is exactly what you need when creating life! Your body should be treasured in all these seasons, and all your feelings are valid af. Your helping people, girl! Some of us never wanted kids and had them too early, others longed for them and didn’t have them until adulthood, this is super relatable content for everyone, and just frankly lovely to witness as someone who has been vegan and watched you for years.

I love that you aren’t sugar coating the pregnancy. I was so sick for 27 weeks, had a nice two weeks in the middle then now sleep the rest of the pregnancy. It’s not easy and not always a magical time

I had my daughter in September and while I was very happy and grateful I HATED being pregnant and I hated postpartum even more so far. Though my baby is now 4 months and I'm starting to feel myself coming back a little. Thank you for sharing; I love watching pregnancy content and your casual vlogs to please post the next 2 trimesters :)

I felt so similar in the first trimester. I felt like I was nothing more than a vessel, a host. Pregnancy altogether was rough. If you’re open to sharing the second and third trimesters, please do! I love hearing other women’s experiences. ❤

It’s excellent seeing your pregnancy, as it played out, and I’d love to see more. I’m sorry that you had such a hard time during the first trimester. I hope it gets better…we’ll see, I guess, if you post more. I do know that you ended up with a beautiful, little person in your lives, so that’s amazing.❤
My husband and I are retirement age now, and our two sons are 30 and 27 years old. **ADVICE WARNING** Enjoy every step in their development. Be loving, forgiving and as patient as you can manage. It will be trying sometimes (remember what a shit you were with your own parents😅, I do), but f’ing rewarding the rest. Life is beautiful.

OMG I loved this, please share more! I had a very very similar experience, emotionally and physically to what you went through. Decided 3 months before to start trying and got pregnant on the 3rd try. Hated being pregnant and put my partner through it, lol.

I just had my first baby too and have been feeling like I miss being pregnant. Thanks for the reminder of how miserable it was! 😂 My first trimester symptoms were exactly the same as you describe. Ugh!

I do have part 2 and 3 but I wanted to see how you all liked this one ;) It does feel very weird to be pregnant. Not trapped, but vacant like I described. You can watch the video I did about "What I really think about being pregnant" !

So glad you documented everything! I had a baby this past October and also had a really hard time being pregnant. I am grateful the journey I had and it was all worth it, but yeah pregnancy is really hard on the body (and mind!)

I’m only 18 weeks but I had the same symptoms, all I want to eat is fruit (oranges and berries specifically) and a low grade nausea for a few weeks.

My first trimester was a breeze and so was my whole pregnancy and my birth was pretty easy but that's probably because I did IVF and stabbed my butt 50 times with a large needle, it all evens out! Congrats, Lauren.
Gosh i feel so bad for you and for myself. Im currently 10 weeks pregnant with my second. And I’m having a very hard time. My first pregnancy was high risk with kidney stones and all that. Been having kidney pain with this one too, the last few days. Absolutely nauseating. Im just a lifeless person on bed rn. I can’t wait to get done with this. 🥲
