Cleaning the harness and coax at the box brought my camera back, thanks! Crazy how contact cleaner completely fixes this issue and also fixes the issue with volume knob on console.
Also, you can just remove the little cargo net cover on right side to get faster access to the modules. You just rotate the two little plastic clips that hold the cargo net metal rod and then pull out the cover and unhook the light plug.
I can’t seem to find my Camera module in this location on my 2017 Audi a7.. any ideas where else it could be? Looked under the driver seats too… but I do have a camera on this a7
I'm having issues with my back up camera not working. I just bought the car it has 21k miles it worked fine for the first 1800 miles now it won't turn on when put in reverse, I was shocked when you stated youe milage. Is this something that's covered under the Audi warranty?
If it’s under warranty have them fix it. It’s probably the dust on the reverse camera module. There’s actually a small cover you can take off where the little net is on the right side and get to those modules. There’s a vent in the compartment and it lets in crude and causing module issues
@@kr3wdog06 when u put in reverse? For me, when I put in reverse, the parking button light flashes and a beeping sound is heard from the rear side wall.. Neither the camera nor the sensors work..
My camera wasn't working, it turns out that the camera won't work if one of the sensors is bad, my right front center had a code, I replaced it, and now the camera works fine.
The proximity sensor on the front bumper? My camera was all static glitching out. I've also noticed when I drive on a dusty road my camera starts going bad again and I have to clean the module again.

And just a note, when I say contact cleaner I’m referring to the electrical cleaner you can find at your auto parts store.
