Audi Reverse Camera Retrofit - 1/3 the Cost!

I have a 2017 Audi TT with Virtual Cockpit - so what is the best way to integrate a reverse camera? Turns out, fitting a genuine part can cost upwards of £700 in some cases. So I head to AWTuning to get a third party camera installed for less than £250 that looks just like an OEM fitting.

Nice video. One question: These cameras are basically always powered when the ignition is on, so they are always working. Do they last?

I just received a reverse mirror dashcam that comes with the rear camera, to which cable can I connect it in the back so it receives power all the time? for constant rear video recording. Or do I need to throw a cable to the front (to the ignition) we well?

Wire to the reverse light so when you put the car into reverse the camera will power up
