I love The Last Homely House! Kate is such a fun lady to watch! Those curtains will be lovely! And, your beautiful studio and home are so peaceful and full of dreams of creativity! Everything you share with us is so beautiful! Appreciate you taking the time to share with us all! Thank you!
Aww, thanks for visiting. I hope to have another video uploaded this week.
What treasures you have!! A needle book made by your Grandma!!! My Grandmother was a quilter and I, just recently, was able to get one of her quilts from a family member. I feel so blessed to have it. And the gift of the feedback quilt blocks!! It’s wonderful to know that you were gifted those because the giver knew you would treasure them. Thanks for another great video!!
That little needle book is one of my most treasured items.
Thanks so much for the shoutout about my Perfect Thread Bag. It is greatly appreciated. Karen
You are so welcome!
Have a pleasant time at your retreat - you will be in my neck of the woods 😊 it’s always an informative and fun time watching you and today had me wandering off looking at crochet animals…hahaha!
I wondered if you might be there since it was close. We are going to try to hit Crannberry Bog Cottage before we go to the Inn.
Those rabbits were so fun to make. I’d highly recommend. I have another pattern for a bigger rabbit that has a hoodie. So cute!
I’m a little behind on my Stitch a Day. Two weeks with Covid. Not too bad. Lots of coughing.
I wanted that Cohana sewing kit Nichola showed. Couldn’t find it for nothing. I did buy the red scissors. I want a flat kit that is zippered. I’ll look at the one you bought.
I made curtains I learned from the Last Homely House but they are the pojagi style. They are 6” squares of batiks. I only had to make a pair for one window. Lots of work but well worth it. They look like stained glass in the sunshine.
How privileged you are to be the custodian of that Dresden plate quilt. I am so glad there are people like you saving these treasures.
Ugh, I’m sorry you’ve been down with Covid. That stinks. I love those curtains she made with the batiks. I’d love to make some of my own. I’m just afraid if I start making batiks that will be a big rabbit hole I could get lost in. LOL
Agnes is adorable with her little boots on her paws. It looked like boots to me. I am glad she is doing well!
What a fabulous gift you received with a box full of feedsack Dresden plates. 😮 That will be fun to work on. And the curtains will be wonderful. I watch Kate too and she is an inspirational woman. There is another woman who created a beautiful little cottage and garden who I also find inspiring.
The bos with your old sampler turned out beautiful.
Happy stitching 🧵
Hi Heidi! Her boots make me laugh.
You have terrific videos. How fortunate to receive the dresden plate blocks. Your bunnies are adorable. It's smart to keep them at your house as they will be more precious to the grandchildren. Look forward to your next video in April.
Thank you so much!
You share the best variety of stuff! Love the Dresden Plate blocks, would look cute incorporated in your curtain idea. Have a great time at retreat, Kristy.
Thanks so much! 😊
I just love Kate and her lime green sofa!
Me too! I think we would be great friends if she lived nearby.
I always love seeing what you’ve been up too!!!
Thanks for watching.
Another great video...! The dresden plate pieces are an incredible gift! Thanks for the sharing the storage ideas for travel.
Thanks for watching!
Love the boxes you make and finish!!😻. Ann Robinson is stunning , hope you find your thread. What a wonderful gift from Linda with all those Dresden plates!! I too have patterns with bite marks in them ...but we love our cats!!

I watch Kate also and love her videos. She is a master at colors, so bold and creative. Her voice is so calming and a few minutes of visiting with her will reduce any stress you may be experiencing….The Dresden Plates are astounding and what a gift to you who will cherish them and fully finish the quilt beautifully. Your enthusiasm is palpable!!!
I totally agree! I just love her. Her style is more bold than mine but I love seeing what she comes up with.
That was fun! Love the dresden Plate feed sack pieces..
Have fun ❤
Thank you! You too!
Christine, How nice to see you again. I loved seeing all of your sewing kits. Very creative. I will have to get that pattern from Annie's. Good luck making those curtains. That will be quite an undertaking! You really received a treasure trove of 30's fabrics from your generous viewer. I look forward to see what you do with them. Take care, stitchy friend. Best, K
Thanks. I’m excited to bring the Dresden plates to life. I’ve always planned to make one. Having original feed sacks is icing on the cake for sure!
Thanks for sharing! You always have great things to share!
Thank you.
I got my hot pink sewing box from Amazon yesterday and am so excited to make my fabric inserts and kit it up. I am going to order more and make up kits for my stitchy friends for Christmas. Absolutely love your channel and your welcoming intro. Thanks so much. Sue
Wonderful! Hot pink would be awesome. I like your gift idea.
Thanks for another great video .
Thanks for watching!
🎉🎉 glad the silk is working out! The project is so pretty and you’ve made some serious progress! Love all the projects and the quilt ones too!! Happy Stitching!!
Thanks again, it is going to look great when it’s finished. It might take forever, she’s big, but worth the investment in time.
I have an Agnes too! His name is Oscar. Looking forward to see what you do with all those Dresden's! And thanks for sharing your kits. I love organizing and enjoy seeing what others do. You gave me some new ideas!
I hope Oscar is better behaved than Agnes. She is a wild child.
What a great collection of stitching cases.
You have some great projects going.
Marilyn

I enjoyed your video, especially seeing your kits.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoyed seeing all of your projects - loved seeing the tool kits. It’s always fun to see how others organize their “stuff” and get some good ideas.
Thanks. So do I. There’s always someone with a great idea out there that will work for something I’m doing.
What a wonderful video. You do beautiful work. Your quilts are beautiful. Love the Dresden Plate quilt you were gifted with. She gave them to the right person. Love the rabbits you made! Happy Spring. Hope your back keeps healing for you!! 🌺🌺🌺⭐️⭐️
Thank you. You are too kind.
I enjoyed every part of your video! Wow, those curtains are going to be a labor of love! You’ve started some great cross stitch projects. And that first kit- love it!

You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.
Hi This is the first time I have came across your You Tube Videos. It was so neat and you make it so interesting.
Thanks, Teresa. I’m glad you stopped by for a visit.
Plan on being a regular.
@@teresaericson6603 Yay!
Love the floral heart daily Embroidery is looking great, love your embroidered box ,I started to collect the needles from all my project bags since I couldn’t find what I needed and now have a large box bursting at the top with just needles.I shouldn’t need any new ones for a while ,glad I am not the only one who takes years to finish great quilts ,you are going to have fun with your curtains and the Dresden plate quilt love love your rabbits must find the patterns and knit them before Easter ,I am not very good at putting my things on rav, enjoy Easter
You will love making the bunnies. I would even consider making them again, and I generally never say that.
I love the stitch colors on your alphabet for the crewel embroidery box. Could you tell me what the pattern was? It's so awesome that someone shared those quilt pieces with you! I can't wait to see it all finished.
I’m afraid I don’t recall what the pattern was. It was most likely from a magazine from that time. I remember I kept a copy of it for years, but it’s gotten lost along the way.
Love all your projects.
Thank you.
Loved the video
The Witchery stitchery in my horeb Eid is a delightful stitching shop. Try her for finding your brick thread
I always find hard to locate colors there
Thanks for the tip!
Try the page protectors heavy duty for your paper charts.
Those Dresdens! What a lovely surprise! Can you share more about what you are spinning lately?
I can’t remember the last time I was able to spin. It makes me sad. I miss it but I really don’t have room in the house to get the wheel out without being attacked by a curious cat. That slows the process down considerably. LOL Hoping once warmer weather arrives and we finish the second half of the studio I can get back to it. It is great therapy.
Your project by the Little stitcher is so beautiful! Do you think that you can put your paper patterns in page protectors so Agnes will not chew on them or does she like plastic too? Hope you have a wonderful time at the retreat.
She attacks everything when she’s in one of her spaz modes. I have a plastic stand to hold up the patterns and she has even chewed it. Her behavior explains why one of her teeth is broken!
Love all your cases!
Thanks.
What about using sleeve protectors on your paper patterns. Have fun on your retreat. Your travel sewing kits are great.
Tried it. She chewed it, too. *sigh*
Your projects are beautiful! That Dresden Plate is fantastic!! Wow! That Agnes is hilarious!! Will she still bother your paper patterns if you put them in a plastic sleeve?
Yes, she’s obsessed with chewing things. I swear it’s like having a teething toddler. LOL
🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful podcast. I was wondering what count fabric you are using for the morning glory 365 stitches. Have fun at retreat! Mine is coming up in April
I believe I am using 32 count. Some of the stitches are complex so I wanted it large enough to see the details.
@@mountaincraftsstudio thank you for responding and telling me the count. Can’t wait to see some of your Weaving’s when you get better.
As I am watching you, I’m overwhelmed by your talent, resourcefulness and productivity! You are a machine, girl! The quilt blocks are a treasure! Btw, would it help to put your patterns in plastic sheet protectors or does Agnes like to chew plastic?😂
Thank you. I should do a blooper reel sometime so you realize what I’m really like. LOL
Agnes would attack that too. Paper, boxes, the plastic project bags… she’s like a teething toddler, it all ends up with her teeth marks.
@@mountaincraftsstudio a blooper reel would be awesome!😂😂 it would certainly make me feel like less of a loser! Agnes is way cool. I have a dog who was a naughty puppy but had my heart from the start. He’s now an adult who is always at my feet and he still has my heart!
Enjoyed your retreat. Your shawl is beautiful. Are you going to the stitch day at always in stitches?
I try to go, but the next one I will be available for is in April.
I’m going to the Saturday morning one in April. I’m thinking about when the weather gets better I might do some Wednesdays.
@@debbieflaugh4332 I just looked and April is sold out. I’m signed up for July and August. I may try one of the Wednesdays in April.
Oh my goodness. I can’t believe how popular it has gotten. We are going to start out stitch along in April
@@debbieflaugh4332 I think it is awesome that it has become popular. It’s nice to know that there are lots of stitchers in our area.
I put my patterns in plastic note book sleeves, maybe that would keep Agnes from eating them. Oh my goodness Agnes.
Tried that. She ate that, too!! Crazy cat.
You had to post that zippered case. What is a person supposed to do? Cruel you are, too cruel 😅😂😂😂
Sorry, not sorry. LOL
😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
