Enjoyed seeing all your projects , especially your quilts are beautiful and luv the fabrics you used . Kitty Agnes , such a sweetheart , hope she gets better fast . Thank you for all you share .
Love the deep green linen you received for the sampler you’ve been saving. Also think the silks will look so rich and beautiful. I think you will enjoy the changes you’ve made and the end result will be fabulous! Also liked your antique sewing box with the old tomato pin cushion and drawer and so forth. Hope your quest to rid your cabin of mice goes well. We get them every fall and early winter. Hope Agnes makes a speedy recovery.
Especially love your quilts, the frames on the wall look great! Good idea. Looking forward to seeing some stitches on the perfect green linen. Little antique sampler is adorable. Always enjoy your videos Christine. Keep them coming, Kristy.
I enjoy seeing your various projects. I also cross stitch, knit, and quilt. We appear to like the same fabrics for quilting. Looking forward to more of your videos. 😊
Love your flosstube videos-wonderful projects, especially the Soldier’s Cot quilt! I was not drawn to it when you showed the cover of the pattern; however, your fabric choices are wonderful and your finished quilt is fantastic. I hope Agnes’ health continues to improve.
Great video Christine, lovely finishes, adore that green fabric for your sampler,Mice hate them, wonderful haul, have a good week Thankyou for sharing 👍🇳🇿🪡❤️
Christine, Thank you for sharing your beautiful quilts and stitching! Love your hand spun too, apparently the mice like your wheel 🤣🤣! Hope Agnes is on the mend soon. Always look forward to what you share !!!
Enjoyed watching today. Love seeing what you have been stitching and quilting. Your quilts are stunning and your Nantucket basket stitch is adorable! Hope you are having a wonderful week and Agnes gets to feeling better, too. Hello to Ethel! Take care.
The frames on the wall are a great idea. Love that spool box, what a treasure. I also ordered some Cedar River Linen, so pretty. Your Traveling Stitched piece will look fabulous on the green. Marilyn
Hi Christine! Thank you for another wonderful video. Both of your finished quilts are beautiful - lucky grandkids who get to sleep under them. I’m right there with you with Cedar River Linens green linen. I’m scouting around for just the right project for my piece. So fun to see your knitting and I look forward to watching you scarf grow. Happy Crafting! -Carolyn
Thank you. I’ve since decided I need to just make one long fabulous scarf. There’s not really quite enough for two and this yarn is too fabulous to waste!
I love you quilts that you showed today. I too have the Kathleen Tracy quilt book and want to make the cot quilt with fabrics I purchased several years ago. Oh well all in good time. I too hope Agnes is feeling much better and up to chasing around your house.
I really enjoy your flosstubes! Everything you show is right up my alley. I’m especially inspired this time by your plans for Ann Robinson. I just received the gorgeous green linen and have been looking for something special for it. Thanks!
Hi Christine, it’s always good to see your videos pop up. You’re so interesting and I love the stitching and quilts you show. One of these days I’ll have to come to the stitching group at always in stitches. It’s just that Saturdays are hard for me to do something like that because it’s about the only day my husband and I get to spend looking for a primitive finds. But maybe, I’ll see you soon!
I have found my person! I'm always the odd man out, in groups, because my tastes are so primitive. I love everything you do, are, and what you live with. Just love all of it! I ENJOY YOUR FLOSSTUBE! Just a note: "It's only considered hoarding if you are saving the cheeseburger wrapper, still encrusted with melted cheese, from 3 months ago." ~~a comment on the internet~~ 🤪 So......hoard on! It's all good, really good stuff!
Your quilts are beautiful! Hope Agnes feels better soon! That pattern on the green linen will be gorgeous. I look for frames at goodwill too, especially square ones!
I love the empty frames hanging on the wall!! Such an inspiring idea! And that Civil War cot quilt!! Proof that fabric hoarding pays off!! All the best to poor Agnes!
I aways visiting with you so much! I had to laugh when you mentioned your mice problems and not being able to spin because of their mischief. I haven't knit anything or touched my wheel except to dust it in at least three years, but I have found a use for a drop spindle - a perfect tool for making twisted cording!
So happy when I see your notifications pop up! Give me handwork of any kind over machine work ...... just something therapeutic about listening to the thread being pulled through the fabric. Hope Agnes is on the mend soon.
I completely agree. I was doing crewelwork once when my husband mentioned how much louder it was than cross stitch. I was enjoying it so much it hadn’t occurred to me. After that I tried to stick to cross stitch while he’s watching tv.
Christine, I love watching your videos. The scenery, your stitching, our distractibility by a random squirrel, makes me think we have a lot in common. ❤️ great video!
I caught up with my Stitch a Day. I am surprised at how pretty it is. Unfortunately, the camera doesn’t show the intricate stitches. I’m thinking of making mine into a project keeper using the pattern by Tiger Lily or a project bag. It definitely will be somewhere I can regularly enjoy it. My dog had pancreatitis and had to be hospitalized overnight. He’s now 17 years old. It’s so distressing when our babies get sick. That green fabric is perfect. I wouldn’t care if I didn’t have all the floss. I’ve sat down and started within an hour of getting something in the mail. I definitely am someone who stitches what I want. My goal is to keep it to about a dozen projects, though.
Thank you so much for showing my book! I’m so glad you are enjoying it. Loved seeing your projects. The spool stand is a nice example - I too love the folk art styles that have been used and loved. Very cool! ❤
Great video! I love to see what you’ve been working on! Always such beautiful items!! Love the antique sampler and the pin cushion/ spool holder. What a treasure!! Hope Agnes perks up!!
Oh those quilt pieces you found on EBay!! What a treasure! I, like you, enjoy hand piecing and hand quilting. The only reason I don’t do more of the hand piecing is time..too many quilts to make. 😁 Also like you, give me a reproduction sampler with alphabets a few motifs and I’m a happy girl. Thanks for another fun Flosstube!
I have enjoyed Mountain Crafts Studio flosstubes since you first started. Your taste in colors are very similar to mine so I love the Cedar River Linens green linen you chose for your Ann Robinson sampler. I ordered the little shaker basket pin cushion components after seeing yours when you first purchased them. So thanks for all of your help in exploring and obtaining my next stitching projects. It’s always a treat when I see you are going to be on! Thank you.
ANOTHER INSPIRING VIDEO!! Thank you! I remember you saying a couple of videos ago that you would be willing to do something about weaving, if there was interest. I am very interested. I have a table loom and have taken a class but would appreciate any instruction you would be willing to share. As of today, with the cost of the loom, stand, class and yarn, I have a 350$ scarf that I will never wear!😂
Oh dear, yes, that happens. I’m still hoping to do some weaving. I had been putting it off because my lower back is still complaining about the surgery last fall. I’m getting the itch to at least pull out the ridged heddle loom. I need to make myself a scarf. Hopefully one I’ll wear. lol
Love your pin cushion! It’s really sweet! Lucky find on the quilt pieces! It will be beautiful and I love your sampler you are working on! Is it still available? You always have the best content!
I always enjoy seeing what you’re up to. I’m going to hang all my empty frames now😊 Yes, get the cat health insurance. My granddaughter has a love for cats and keeps a carrier in her car, so we end up with some sweet cats after she rescues them.
You are such a good source of inspiration…..would it be possible for you to do a demonstration of how to make that star block that you found… I understand how to make the stars but not sure how to construct into that impressive block 🧵❤️😊
I love that green fabric!! What are the names of the Gloriana you’re needing? I can checking out one of the local places I use for you. It would be a real hardship 😂to have to go buuut I’ll do it to help out a stitcher 😊. I love the frames on the wall!! I have to confess I hate mice. I’ve lived in the country my whole life and the amount of things they’ve ruined just makes me crazy! I hope you win the battle. Hope your cat feels better soon! Happy stitching!!
LOL, I’m looking for Brick and Pecan. We’ve had a constant battle with mice and squirrels at the cabin. And in the space above my studio at the farm. They’ve destroyed so much. Once, squirrels completely filled the engine compartment of my SUV with walnuts. Twice!
Your empty frames on the wall idea is great! It’s like they are waiting for their personal masterpieces :))) It is the first time I see Nathalia/Nataly/Natalia etc sampler! I believe the name was not very popular at the time, hence the rarity of the sampler like that. Are you going to reproduce it by any chance? I would love to stitch one, since I share the name :))))

Oh thank you! I am worried about her.
Especially love your quilts, the frames on the wall look great! Good idea. Looking forward to seeing some stitches on the perfect green linen. Little antique sampler is adorable. Always enjoy your videos Christine. Keep them coming, Kristy.
Thanks so much!

Thanks for stopping by, Donna.
I love it! Who doesn't repaint their bedroom to match their samplers? I can relate. So good to see you again. Thanks, my Stitchy friend. Best, K
Right?!

@@mountaincraftsstudio oh, dear. Hoping they can get her fixed up and back to her cute self💕
The frames on the wall are a great idea.
Love that spool box, what a treasure.

Thank you.
Thank you for showing your beautiful stitching and quilting. Always love seeing what you do. Wish i had a large craft room like you.
Thank you. I know how lucky I am to have the space. I don’t get out much so it saves my sanity.

Thanks for the shout out Christine!! I think you should just paint your bedroom to match the sampler!! Ha ha ha
Poor Agnes. I have frames everywhere as well, and only room to hang a few. Lots of warm and cozy stitching going on here!
I love you quilts that you showed today. I too have the Kathleen Tracy quilt book and want to make the cot quilt with fabrics I purchased several years ago. Oh well all in good time.
I too hope Agnes is feeling much better and up to chasing around your house.
She is back to reeking havoc. I’m glad she’s well, but there are moments when she gets wound up and I think it would be nice if she would take a nap.
I really enjoy your flosstubes! Everything you show is right up my alley. I’m especially inspired this time by your plans for Ann Robinson. I just received the gorgeous green linen and have been looking for something special for it. Thanks!

I'm so glad!
Enjoy your video as usual. Beautiful old quilts. You do such great work. Very kind to your cats. Have a great February. 🌲🌲🌲⭐️⭐️
Thank you! 😊 I'm taking Agnes back to the vet in the morning. She's not perking up yet. :( Poor thing.

I’ve had to dust my looms. Like as in real dust, not the dust from weaving a project. LOL

Jane Timmers is an older designer. Didn’t know she had done anything recently. Lives in Atlanta, ga
I’m not sure how long it has been since this came out. They have a really good stash of items there so it could have been awhile.
Enjoyed hanging out with you at always in stitches Saturday. You have an amazing studio!!!!
Yes, me too! Maybe you should see it in person sometime.
Have you joined the Stitchers In Stitches Facebook group? We are trying to get everyone’s contact info for announcements.
No I don’t have a Facebook account.
What a great idea to hang your thrifted frames! I am getting a collection as well and can’t remember what I have.
I was running out of room and had to do something.
I love your color choices for A Stitch A Day. Would you mind sharing your substitions?
Yes of course! I have Weeks Red Rocks, Sanguin, Loden, Lilly Pad, Hazelnut and Whiskey. Then also Gentle Arts Tin Bucket and Uniform Blue.
Your empty frames on the wall idea is great! It’s like they are waiting for their personal masterpieces :)))
It is the first time I see Nathalia/Nataly/Natalia etc sampler! I believe the name was not very popular at the time, hence the rarity of the sampler like that. Are you going to reproduce it by any chance? I would love to stitch one, since I share the name :))))
Yes, I hope to soon. It is one of my goals for the year to get some of my samplers reproduced.
@@mountaincraftsstudio that is a great news! I will be first in line fro Nathalia’s sampler 😁
We’ll be passing through Indiana
Can you recommend a stitching and quilt store thanks
