Fantastic finish!! I like getting creative with things and having fun with it too.😊 I made a little mini quilt with baskets and couldn’t resist adding some old vintage lace and buttons I had.

When you mentioned that you like to watch a variety of stitchers, you might like to watch the PNW stitcher. She does a variety of different patterns. Her name is Olga and she lives in the Pacific North West, but I believe she is of Russian descent. Her work is gorgeous. You might not see this comment since this a older Flosstube. Hi Gigi! I don't have many kitted pieces in my stash at the moment, but one I do have fully kitted is the Biedermeier sampler!! I really need to stitch it! I love how you FFOed the Tulip House with the lace at the bottom, and I can't wait to see your new designs!
Ooh, with the silks? I think that'll be gorgeous! Realistically it'll probably take me 10+ years to stitch through all my charts, and you know I haven't stopped buying! 🤣 There all just so dang purdy.

I think there is red on the coffee sampler because coffee beans turn from green to red when they are ripe.

Oh my gosh, it's so funny! I think I'd actually buy LESS cross stitch if I had a local shop, but since I'm forced to turn to the internet and the internet has no end, well... I keep the postman busy. 😆

I visited your Etsy Shop and signed up for your newsletter as well as went and found you on Instagram. You should be so proud of all that you can do! My grandmother was a school teacher who paid for years of piano lessons to improve my handwriting; now my career centered around typing (110 wpm) and I cross stitch about 1,500 stitches per day! So my hands are precious. But you! You can paint and stitch and so much more!
Thanks, Desiree! As crafters/needleworkers our hands are so important!! I used to say that if something tragic happened to my hands I'd learn to paint with my teeth. I don't think I can say the same thing about needlework, though... 🤣

I stitched that "Little Quakeresque" myself, and it was a delight. Even though it's a single color, each letter is unique. It's a fun stitch and I'm looking at it in my living room right now!
That's awesome - I love the pattern! Did you use the called for threads and fabric or something different?
@theartsyhousewife I used a pretty standard 32 count linen, might even be vintage country mocha. But I used a navy blue Gloriana silk because I love that floss. Like I said, it's a total delight to stitch.

If it helps, the "berries" are coffee beans which is why they are red. If pink makes you happy, do pink. Your project, Beth doesn't care.
Ah yes, someone pointed that out to me, which would make a good reason to keep them red - but maybe a hotter red? I hope designers are never offended when I change things!! I appreciate there work so much 😊❤

I find with a lot of the American floss tube videos they are very quiet. I don't know if it's a problem my end or not.
I live in the UK so don't know if that has something to do with it.
