- Another video I took while driving the Ford Mustang 1965 with my son and grandson, with the Skydio 2 filming us. This time we had a bit more trouble.

I had this trouble too, but hand around bottom of beacon is the problem, gets weak gps that way. Not sure why gps electronics at the bottom, maybe some technological problem with it near that little screen?
Love Dutch countryside! Your so lucky living there! I visited once with first Indonesian-Dutch wife, I'm N.American, that was so long ago on a jumbo 747 when it was the big rage, am 72 now.

I seem to think I rather like the Dutch countryside villages along a river. Very beautiful. I looked at buying one of those drones. You cannot right now. They are still in pre-order. Yet, you have a vintage Mustang as well.. Must be all the good living...
You should make drone challenge videos again, They get a lot of views and so entertaining.
Most of the time the Skydio likes your red Mustang, but sometimes she finds blue cars more beautiful. As always nice and interesting video.

Love the video and skydio 2, I wonder if mavic 3 , after the update of firmware in January can track with the same pace and quality as skydio 2, I hope it can match, because here in my country Iran, don’t have any shops or companies offering this drone.

I've never seen a road with one center lane for both directions. I assume the narrow side-lanes are for bicycles and passing.
Your right. It has also has a maximum speed limit off 60kmh and 30kmh in the villages

My first car was a 66 Mustang, it made all kinds of noise just like this car and was a total piece of junk. I am so glad I switched to Porsche when I was in my late teens - never looked back. Funny how we ship cars back and forth between USA and Europe and they have different meanings on those other places. Thanks for showing this driving a car, what do you think the maximum speed you can drive a car in an open area with the drone still following. Does the beacon help track a car or does the phone work best? Do you need the beacon for car shoots? Good vid.

Unlike Dji follow mode it knows exactly who to follow. Skydio needs a bit improvement but nonetheless it’s a great drone
Need to read the directions some more? One thing I dont get, if you are using the beacon how is it locking onto other cars/objects? I thought that was the whole point of the GPS beacon was to follow you even when you get behind a tree or something. Maybe because it was using the phone and not the beacon device? Seems yours was having more trouble than other videos I have seen where they have gone completely out of view and it followed them.
Peter, another day , another awesome video. I have t admit I do not understand how the roads are marked over there. The two broken white lines?? Are you supposed to straddle them , drive in between them or what? THanks
It’s the Netherlands, once you smoke some weed it all makes sense
The broken lines are marking bicycle lanes. Once you have to evade an opposing vehicle you have to use that lane, too, of course without endangering the bikes on these lanes. So you have to stop in case.
