A tip for the NATO straps - try in single pass configuration; before attaching watch, feed through the 3rd loop then put the single end through the lugs leaving about 5mm clearance to the 3rd loop. Looks much cleaner and buckle etc sit on bottom of wrist. 😊👍
@@TomasWatchReviewsTandorio sells such "gems" as leaking diver's watches. The quality of their products is terrible, they seem to put together whatever parts they can source for cheap.
Great video . This case shape has so much history, the Tonneau was designed by the military so that it’s slightly sq shape would fit steady on the wrist while the sides were curved so that gear/ packs / equipment would not catch on the watch . Smiths made the first I believe followed by Hamilton and CWC . I absolutely love my one of these , the rdunae RA02 - it’s so slim but does benefit from a strap replacement. Thanks for everything
I love to see more companies using the vh31 movement. I love the accuracy of quartz with the sweeping seconds hand which gives the appearance of a mechanical watch.
That QC issue is a shame, but I guess it's an opportunity to mod it with a different dial. The last 2 watches I got from Ali had QC issues, first was a SKX007 with a misaligned day wheel, the result of installing a 3 o clock crown movement in a 3.8 crown case. The other one is a Presage, pulled it out of the box, gave it a quick wind to get it running and then pulled the crown to set the time, and the crown came right out, too short to lock in. I have like 20 Ali watches, no QC issues, now 2 in a row.
I have the green version. The dial is amazing and so is the crown. What do you think about trying to scratch off the dot on the loom with a sewing needle? Or put a tny dot of whiteout over it
I’ve got the red dial watch it’s ok nice brushing on case I don’t like the oversize crown and strap is on the cheap side also not adjustable enough but all in all the dimensions sold it to me I’ve got mine on a nato and it keeps perfect Time.I have had more expensive watches with zero QC it’s just the way it is
This Tandirio indeed looks quirky but that is exactly its charm. I kinda feel it's missing something...maybe bar shaped indices would contradict to rounded shapes of case and domed crystal? Or no. It already has round indices at 3, 6 and 9 marks. Maybe triangle at 12 bugs me...this is not a diver, not a pilot watch. Triangle conflicts with round character of this watch. How about this Tandorio on a bund strap? That would make it looking a bit wider and repeat shapes of case, working like spices to Indian food (which is what comes to mind when I look at this watch).
I think you're placing too much emphasis on a small defect on the 6 o'clock index. You like it so much, it's surely a "keeper." I could handle that, but the thickness is a "nope" for me.
What about Militado "Murph" ML08? I hoped to see you reviewing it. I kinda liked it very much but then did see ML05 and that made me thinking "Murph" is too formal (for me, anyway) leaving me wishing ML05 as more casual. But you are dressing more classy and it could really fir you. So what's your take on it?
Tandorio lack the quality, ' I like Watches tested their Water pressure is not good . Also other complained a lot . They producing their best work for other Ali brands and from the scraps make their own
I bought a Tandorio 39mm flight style watch last week and I didn't have any QC issues. I was already aware that Tandorio can be hit and miss but thought I'd gamble as it was pretty cheap and this time I got lucky. Although I'm happy with the watch the leather strap isn't great and was very stiff and uncomfortable for the first few days, it is broken in a little now so not as noticeable but I'll probably look at replacing it soon. Mine claims 200m water resistance so I'll have to remember not to go within 200m of water.
I managed to pull a discount combo on AliExpress and bought a Tandorio for slightly more than the retail price of the NH3x movement in it. I hoped that I would be able to scavenge the movement and at least a few parts, but I ended up sending the watch back due to the awful quality of just everything (stiff and smelly strap, low quality print on the dial, weak lume on the dial and hands, sharp edges on the case, rough case finishing, the movement had huge positional variance...). I don't know what I was expecting, it's the bottom of the barrel when it comes to NH3x watches and it shows.

1st vid of yours ive watched and wont be the last.
Like your taste, value hunting and knowledge.
I have some 19mm lug cases .. I just squeeze on a 20 if it does not make a wrinkle it looks fine to me.

Yes, that's the way I always do NATO straps. Much better for me. I don't know why people do it the other way.
@HappyGuy11 👍 Yeah it beats me why a lot of people don't know this way!
This is like a collection of the best value for money watches (or brands) on Earth, at the moment
True true. I am very much value orientated.

It is like a Vostok with 710 case really like the dial thanks for sharing 😊

was actually thinking about the needle, was to lazy to do it yet :D
Man that new addiesdive logo is awesome
@@CoolWatchesOnly I love their Royal Oak homage where they used Adidas font to spell "addies" on the dial 🤣

this brown one is amazin!
i really hope you would review more on tandorio models :)

it looks pretty thick ...i cant were anything above 11mm anymore...i love my seiko sne569 at 10.6mm thickness or my traska summiteer at 10.5

Militado said they will send me ML08. Will see.
Thanks! Fingers crossed!
my vote goes to bright brown, and im not even a nato strap guy. Wish the watch was quartz tho
Sharp point of an Exacto knife will get that blemish
