unfortunately these ones didn't last very long as they were the ones without the filters didn't work very well

These vscuums are awful. The seals go bad, and they have too many moving parts.
What about cleaning the brush roll and the HEPA filter by the motor? Wouldn't you have to clean those?
Yep ! What they also dont tell you if eventually you will need to clean the cyclone as they do actually get clogged, its very complex but by then the motor is destroyed from fine dust making it through to it
Yes you have to clean those. That is common knowledge. You seem to be confused about what you are watching. This is a TV sales demonstration not the video instruction manual.
@@s.kxx1956 Dysons have a funny design flaw where if you let the dirt go over the maximum fill line, it changes the air pressure in the dust bin and the cyclones will start operating in reverse and suck debris into the cones.
Those last the 10-year intended lifetime of the vacuum assuming it's not abused

We’ve had a DC55 for 6 years and still going strong, the filter rarely ever needs cleaning, I imagine if this machine emptied and not overfilled i imagine it will last a long time. My biggest complaint about the Dyson I have is the hose is a bit faffy to use, too springy and pulls back to machine easily, also the hose wand could be a better shape.
