      I have made pork chops like this since the 70's, maybe even the 60's, I don't remember exactly, but it's been a long time. I always browned the chops first, then did the Spanish rice flavor, adding extra garlic. Really good.

      +ReaperSound You lost me there. People are simply adding a recommendation. Browning the pork chop, then adding the rice and completing this recipe would benefit a lot of people. No one is criticizing anyone. It is all win-win.

    It takes less time to make regular pork chops. Just season it with whatever you want, put it in a hot pan for a couple minutes each side and you’re done

    @BurnsCanCook my Ronco blades are still in tact. I only use about 4 knives. I liked Miracle Blades but they felt flimsy. And yes, Wusthof is the bomb!

    @secrets2keep meat washing should be mentioned. i wash all my meat, but I don't show it on screen. Just lazy I guess. I will try to mention it on the next meat video. you know as soon as I say "always wash your meat" the comments are going to be flying at me. LOL

    I'd never add green onions into a mac salad but finely minced maui onion(cpl teaspns) adds a lot of flavor. Before serving i mix it with finely sliced quatered japan cucumber and a little grated carrot for color; mayo and sour cream..but thats just my op.

    I started doing this over the summer. I've cooked beef and chicken in the same way. Usually I'll toss in a can of corn and stewed tomatoes for additional flavor. Good, lazy eats!

    I call green onions *table onions*...that's what my grandma from Hungary called them. I think that might be because she would just cut the root off, wash them and set them on the table for everyone to pick up an onion and eat raw with a little salt, if you chose. I still eat them like that.

    Funny I have never had a problem with my pork chops being dry any way I fixed them? My fav seasoning for when I just fry them is Krazy Salt and Krazy Pepper. They are great:)
