REALLY good job! Not only is this a great tutorial for this specific board, but also it's just a great audio engineering tutorial in general for someone who's less experienced-talking about all the basic settings you'd need to adjust!
I use my X32 as the center of my studio, because it can be used as an excellent-quality 32-channel audio interface. The X32 is less expensive than a 32-channel audio interface, plus you get all the mixer, buses, FX and other features on top of it all.
I used it last year consistently and using it again soon and was thinking about buying the mini for myself to own and use as an audio interface. Was wondering why it isn't done more. Studio mixing desks are overrated ahah, ofc they each specialise differently, this is objectively better live and those are objectively better mixers for recording but still.
Thanks so much, after using analogue desks for years, my band has finally gone digital. Initially I was overwhelmed, but I feel much more confident now. Cheers.
Something that maybe needs to be addressed... While the input meter looked perfectly fine, the amount of gain dialed into that SM58 to get that level certainly looked excessive (and not just a little bit). Typically, if a user was to need that much gain on an SM58 (even when used for speaking), I'd be suggesting they look for a problem in the signal chain between source and console (like a bad mic or "one legged" mic cable). Was there perhaps something else connected inline between the SM58 and the X32 (a padded splitter perhaps)? In any case, the information presented was solid. The metering was fine as well. I'd just reinforce to follow the input meters for gain, and tell viewers that the amount gain that was applied to the SM58 in this video, to get that input level on the meters, was way higher than the gain knob would normally ride to achieve that input level on a vocal. And that is typically a sign of a problem or misapplied setting on an outboard device, etc. somewhere in the signal chain between mic and console.
thank ya very much, this is the Mixer I will be running this weekend and needed "the low down" on how it works.I am meeting up with another Tech tonight for a quick run through but I think I can hack my way through now...thanks again.
Great VID My church has a Presonus 32 channel digital live board that we do not understand and can not get features like Reverb to work. We us as a analog board. When it dies we will probably get a Behringer X32. This seems to work as designed. Thanks for the video. Love the Reverb.
Fantastic board! Gorgeous! Really does seem user friendly, too. I love it. Great demo, Mitch. Thank you. I’m curious about what it weighs. Visually, it appears to be quite heavy. However, I’ll bet Behringer put deep concern into that aspect as well. Bravo, Lads!!
boss you re the most dedicated person ever seen, you explained things very simplest way for someone who know nothing have better understand to operate without fault🫡🔥🔥🔥always think digital was difficult but with u its simple
very clear - i tried to use one at a gig for the first time with no instruction, chaos ensued i had many questions [gig was last night] now i think i could do it i wish you had addressed the digital snake and the i/o panel though that was a total mystery to me, it was somewhere else installed so i could not really follow wires etc and some things were plugged directly to the board, i did not know if it was using that i/o panel or the snake, or a mix, or what
My Only Wish Is To See These Demonstrations Combined With The Popular DAW'S (FL STUDIO, LOGIC, PROSONUS) Ran In Windows And Or Mac. I'm Sure Most People Would Love To Know These Things, Because The 32 In and Out Via USB Is EXTREMLY COMPLICATED... Especially With How Do We Set It Up With Ethernet So We Can Control our DAW's From The X32 and or From our X32's To Our PC's DAW... WE ARE SO LACKING IN HOW TO DO This.
That's really interesting, we you didn't even go to the routing section. You simply selected the main stereo bus out and push up the master fader. Did i fet that right?
this is showing you the delay time for the rhythmic delay. by rhythmically tapping it on quarter notes of the tempo of your song, you can set it to more appropriately timed responses.
Question: I just purchased this console. Where can I get information on setting it up for our gospel group. I have called many places but I’m still at the start point ? And the manual that came with it is only 4 pages and there’s no real explanation of this digital board. ???? Any help would be appreciated
Hello, great question! The X32 does not work with the X Air program. You will want to use the X32 EDIT app, which can be downloaded from the X32 product page of Behringer's website, under the Software drop-down: www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=0603-ACE Thanks! Hello, Ravi! Yes it does! In the case of the full-sized X32, it has 32 mic preamps on board. Thanks for the interest! Cody Kraus, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1766, cody_kraus@sweetwater.com
It was over my head. Need videos for people who do not have a clue what you are talking about. I don't know any of the technical terms you are talking about. I am totally lost.
This console might be the one exception. Behringer is terrible, and Midas’s M32 is clearly superior. But you will not get the functionality and flexibility you can get out of an X32 on other consoles in the price range.

I am enrolled at Full Sail University, I am going to add this engineering piece to Audio Set Up.
Amazing that over a decade since this desk was released people are still making new tutorials
True. Like the Nikon D500.
I bet the price is around same also 😅

I thought the world of digital mixers would be complicated but thanks for this video. Very well explained & simplified👍🙏

What an outstanding job.
Very clear explanations, very easy to understand, perfect presentation.
Big thank you !!
I actually managed to connect the condenser mic and make it work with the help of this legend, pretty proud of myself:)
Thank you sir!
X32 is such a wonderful console even after many years! I just sold ours for the WING. More routing options & more input channels

Really enjoyed the demo, thanks Mitch and crew!
Awesome. Really visual, hands-on and practical. Makes it easy to follow along and learn practically.
This looks like a really powerful console. Very professional. Great video, thanks 🤘

Hello thx for a good lesson, but I do have a question about how to take off the acco in microphones please
in case you mean "echo" you can just disable the sends/returns
A time stamp chart for the layout of this video would be very appreciated .
Many people say that this board has very durable faders, is this true and how often did you change yours?
Just amazing
Thank you so much!
Wow. Thank you.
Great👏
How do you turn on the X32
Time stamps would go a long way with this video.
Great video, question, why is that light on the right hand side under the Assign section, the effects, continually flashing?

i love it, more lessons
how long did it take to build the system 😮
Can you do one for the presonus studiolive 64s too
