Regarding your comments at the end:
1. Haven't received complaints about Bluetooth connectivity in a while but will investigate and try to replicate. Assuming you're using latest firmware and latest Green version
2. Reporting this archive bug to the team
3. We have a lot planned for the Jade and Green so stay tuned on camera support for transactions. For now, you can use the camera to restore your recovery phrase from QR - although this is more of a convenience for users who are playing around with Jade more and factory resetting often

@@Armyguy6902 There isn't an easy way to safely do this quite yet, but we plan to offer SeedQR export from Jade soon. Right now, the best way would be if you have a SeedSigner, which has the ability to help you hand draw your recovery phrase in QR format. Jade can read Standard SeedQR as of 0.1.35. You could also do something like trace the screen of a completely offline computer (that will not be online again) with the ability to generate QRs, but obviously that's a hassle. Best thing would probably be to wait for Jade to support SeedQR export.

Hi. I am really confused. I am going to get into BC and just do not know who to use. You seem to mention each week a different cold wallet. I initially liked Jade then you mention Tangem then Coldcard(which does appeal to me due to data card use and battery back up). I thought I could buy via Coinbase Pro/Strike/Coincorner, then transfer out via Sparrow and then into one of the mention cold wallets, but which one?
It recognised my jade on my Mac and when I hit unlock jade nothing happens on my device. How can u fix this
Is there a benefit to setting up on mobile?
It's interesting to consider that, in 10 years, when 4 billion people are using bitcoin, it will be very expensive to do transactions on the base layer. But layer 2 solutions that sit directly on layer 1 won't be much help without a layer 1.5 (or perhaps just renaming LN and others as actually layer 3 and the intermediate 'reservoirs' of bitcoin layer 2). The signing devices like Jade will be used by the managers of these reservoirs, not individual users. I would love for someone to explain how the whole bitcoin ecosystem is going to operate when 8 billion people are using it.

Scaling
The Bitcoin UTXO set, as it exists today, cannot scale to serve billions of users self custodying through personally owned UTXOs. Even using the Lightning Network as a scaling model, it would take years of full blocks to open a single lightning channel each for a billion people. We believe this is a fundamental limit to self custody, and that, at-scale, users will have to aggregate and share ownership of UTXOs either through shared cold storage or as shared lightning channels.
The current direction this scaling model has taken is that users opt into using centralized third party custodians to manage their funds or manage their lightning channels/balances.
Fedimint provides an alternative solution: federating custody of users' funds, but maintaining interoperability with the lightning network to allow global scale payments outside of an individual Fedimint.
Fedimint takes the economic density of an entire community and collapses it into a small number of "gateway" lightning nodes.
I ran into all the issues you mentioned, with pairing and archiving accounts. The pairing and archiving on iOS seems to be fixed for the most part. Was kind of the reason I shelved it some time ago. Now the issue is the desktop wallet crashing on single sig wallets with Jade.
Mine is doing that everything is coming up and I hit unlock jade and nothing happens in my hardware devices. How did u fix it ?

Can someone help answer my question, if you setup a passphrase for your 24 seed phrase is that a singesig wallet or a multisig wallet setup?
Singlesig. You only need one signature (Jade) to control the wallet. This is most common.

Nope
What happens if the company Blockstream goes out of business shutdown the servers after the user has set the wallet to use multisig?
The multisig times out to be single Sig a year after your last transaction. Only the key you hold will work at that point, not Blockstream's.
why cant I see what's in my wallet without plugging in my jade? If I click on the wallet, it says pin access disabled. I can see what's on my ledger without connecting my ledger.
I can see how much bitcoin I have in my wallet without even having my hardware wallet turned on through their Blockstream Jade app which is what I assume you’re using. Did you figure it out?

Major issues with bluetooth conectivity. Not user friendly.
Dumb or obvious question here.. just got a Jade in the mail a few weeks ago. When we connect to the phone or pc with BT or the USB isn’t that defeating the purpose of it being a “cold storage? Does connecting it that way or using the app and BT on my iPhone make it a “hot wallet”? Thanks for the info! 😅
Not dumb at all!
So it's still a cold wallet because the info on your Jade is actually just a set of keys to your money. That data is never shared with your phone or your computer. The keys basically approve your transaction on the Jade itself, then send over the approval for ONLY that transaction to your online device. Your keys are still cold throughout the whole process 👍

So once you choose 12 or 24, that wallet will always be those specific words. If you want a different phrase you can always create a new one and send your money there, but there is no way to change your words while your funds remain in place.

No. But it supports Liquid Network, so you can store Liquid USDT if you want.

Blockstream Green Wallet My multi-sleing wallet all the sudden wouldn't take the correct PIN and I removed the wallet (cause that's how I fixed this issue before) but ow it can't find my wallet and it say ERROR TIMEOUT everytime I try to recover with phrase and manually recover....HELP!!!!
