My husband and I were privileged to see Dudley Moore in Portland, Oregon at a concert. The highlight was his performance of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". Not sure how many people realize that he was a concert pianist.
Waylon Jennings was one of the most legendary outlaw country singers ever. He had such a powerful voice and style. I remember watching The Dukes Of Hazzard, and he'd narrate the series. He was so influential. And you know, I once worked with a guy related to him. Hell, they even looked like each other! Haha.
This was very nicely done 👍. May all of these talented people rest in peace 🕊️🙏💞. Thank you 😊 for making these tribute videos 🎉. Best regards 😃. 12/14/24.
My mother worked for Wendy’s in the 1990s. Everyone who worked at her store worshipped Dave Thomas. We both cried when he passed. It felt like we’d lost a member of the family.
James Coburn had a central role in the true story, "The Great Escape." He was only one of 3 POWs who successfully escaped and made it to another country, again based on fact. A top-notch actor!!!
Robbin Crosby was also HIV+...Ted Williams is also the only MLB player to have a batting average of .400 or better for a season... I believe he topped out at .401, and nobody has managed to do it since, but a small handfull have gotten fairly close.
Not true. Ted Williams is one of 36 .400 hitters in MLB history. Williams wasn't even the last one to do it (Josh Gibson did it in the Negro Leagues two years after Williams). Hall of Famers like Bill Terry, Rogers Hornsby, Ty Cobb, George Sisler, Napoleon Lajoie, Ed Delahanty and Wee Willie Keeler have all accomplished the feat. In fact, seven players have done it more than once.
Hope they all believed in Jesus as God & Savior (John 1:1-14; Titus 2:13; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Revelation 1:1-9). New world coming...no death, no disease, no sickness, no aging, no wars, and best of all no Devil! Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ and be Saved (Acts 16:31)

RIP Layne Staley. He never got the recognition he deserved. An iconic voice of the 1990s. The "Man in the Box".

I hod forgotten that Kevin Smith had died so tragically young. He was great as Aries.

He battled .406 in 1941 and .344 for his career.
