    This is a good and thorough video; however, one person who is not included is Hockey Hall Of Fame member Rod Gilbert, who died on August 19, 2021. Rod was a very popular member of the New York Rangers from roughly 1962-1978 and when he retired, he was affectionately known as "Mr. Ranger". Gilbert was the first member of the Rangers to have his number retired and he also played for Team Canada in the unforgettable eight-game Summit Series against Russia in 1972.

    Betty Lynn was a great actress and comedian! She was also very pretty when she was young. It was hilarious to watch her play Thelma Lou and Don Knotts play Barney Fife together!

      Mike was the only real musician of the group, the rest simply learned on the job.

      @@BeachsideHankWell, Peter Tork was a folk musician in Greenwich Village prior to becoming a Monkee. Mike was easily the most musically adept, but not the only musician in the group.

    • @BeachsideHank
      @BeachsideHank 6 місяців тому

      @@ernestcruz6316 Granted, but Nesmith went on to a pretty solid and respected musical career after the Monks, and not to denigrate Tork's talent, but just about anyone with a guitar and aspirations would play at clubs, many of them being "underground" as was the fashion of the day.

    2021 has been a heartbreaking year as we have lost many great acting talents. Actors who have left us left behind impressive moments in cinema history. They are talented artists who brought the story to life and created memorable characters. Remember with gratitude and respect the artistic legacy they left behind for the audience.

    Jane Withers did much more than just those two roles you listed. She was a very lovely lady in real life! I got to meet and talk with her on two occasions. Such a kind and loving spirit she had! She had been best friends with Shirley Temple, too.

    Thank you Vincent. The music is beautiful, yet makes my heart ache knowing we are only here for a brief moment in time. RIP to those gone but not forgotten during 2021. Have you ever thought about making videos like this for civilians in the world? They count too & mean so much to the families that go on without them. Just a thought.

      @@inmemoriam2000 You're welcome. I think the way you are doing it for famous people is wonderful & can work in the same manner, for civilians. Maybe, without them talking, if you can't gather audio files. Maybe, you could create a video mentioning you'd like to create videos for civilians ranging from years 1960 to current or whatever date range you would prefer. 2020 to 2023 would probably leave you with no time for anything else. Maybe post each individual year asking for the specific date in mind & if anyone is interested, they can send you a photo, date of death, cause of death, and a few things to choose from, with highlights about them & audio if available.That way the Information can be gathered for you at a specific email address where they have to include the year in the title to make it easier to sort. Then you can compile them, how you see fit. Or, I don't know if funeral announcements are considered public information? Maybe, you can gather information directly from death notices online & randomly sort them or filter them by year. Just some ideas. I'll be glad to go first for the year 1996, if you ever decide to do so. Thank you again for your beautiful work, and the way that you honor those who have gone on before us. Or, it may just be too time consuming. It might help your channel get to a million followers. Or, keep them separated & start a new page just for civilians. 💕🙏🏻🏆🎥🌹

    Travis Coates? Yeah Ain't never seen, nor will I ever see Old Yeller, The Dog Dies at The End, Oh sorry did I spoil an important Plot Element, Well to bad I don't care, because nobody cared when Claire Huxtable, Slappy Squirrel, The Cast of Friends, or any number of Tubers Spoiled that scene so why should I. Bob Dole ain't Cute, I'm talking about The Ending Scene in The Bird Cage . With the death of White Out Heir, Mike Nesmith Mickey Dolenz is the last survivor of The Monkees.
