I truly enjoy watching your videos. It was in 2003 that my mom passed away. I remember being almost obsessed with death, dying, celebrity deaths because of watching my mom fight cancer. It will be 21 years ago this coming Monday 11/25/24. I still love learning about how people lived and died. I have also become more comfortable with my own mortality.
My dad also passed in 2003. I didn’t really realize how many famous people have passed during this particular year. I was so wrapped up in my own grief. Thank you for this video
Robert Stack was hysterical in Airplane! Like they did with Leslie Nielsen they took an actor known for roles where they were hard boiled and serious and turned them into comedic geniuses.
And it gives me a chance to add new people that I left out of the original. It makes the videos a little longer but it seems most people are enjoying them.
Hey Vince, when you do the 2000 revision, be sure to add David Tomlinson from Mary Poppins...he died June 24th at age 83. Maybe a sound clip would also be appropriate. Thanks!!
Thank you for that. I'll try to remember. But it's always better to post comments like this on the InMemoriam video for the year they died. I check every comment on any video I am creating a Rev.2 version.

Always enjoy learning about history and people I never heard of. Your retrospectives are my go-to!
Awesome, thank you!

Nice tribute. Two disasters, the shuttle and The Station. And thanks for mentioning Herb Brooks.
I find myself in tears every time i watch these. Most were part of my growing up. The inevitable.
I love when you go back and redo different years again. Sometimes I forget all the amazing people we have lost 😞

Thank you for remebering Keiko, no animal should be stuck behind bars or in small tanks.
Many famous people died that year, may they all rest in peace.
2003 was a brutal year indeed. Too many group tragedies couple with some very beloved people passing away.

No John Ritter or Johnny Cash voices?
I still watch Three's Company. What a great physical comic John Ritter was!
The miracle on Ice was in 1960 Olympics. No ABC or Al Michaels so no one knows about this. I will tend the flame until I die..!
