    I hope you do more on this subject. Chain link, wood fence, gates…. The different pieces for fencing and gates.

      Thanks for watching! We unfortunately don't do any chain link or wood fences but have a great deal of valuable information that would get you a long way when installing that type of fencing! We specialize in horse and livestock fencing mainly pipe railed fencing! There are a lot of other great youtubers on here that specialize in the type of fencing you are looking for. Best of luck!

    Part of my eagle project planning to build wood railing near ecological reserve
    5 inch diameter round poles with 3 feet height above the ground. Any suggestions how to do this,

      It is always best to talk with the building and planning department, however, they may want you to be a licensed fencing contractor. You can discuss the project with a local fence contractor and maybe work with them. If frost is not an issue then a post depth of around 12- 16" should be good. There are many variables.

    If its for cattle it should be no less then 30 inches deep and just use a pto driven post hole digger

    A proper way to put posts in is to dig them as deep as you can! Especially on gate posts! Another thing is, Do Not fill the hole to ground level with concrete! Keep it down at least six inches. When you fill them to the top they will push themselves out of the ground where you have frost and cold temperatures!

      Only 4 feet deep on large posts or long posts like for a backstop at a ball field.
