I was working at a dive bar in really rural area in PA, in my early 20’s. It was super dark and creepy at night, with no nearby houses or businesses, and as it was a tiny place, I always worked alone. One night about 1am a souped up foreign car pulled into the parking lot. The lot was small and there were two huge windows that faced it, so you could see in the bar clearly at night, and it was observable that I was alone. Three young guys in “city” attire got out and started walking around the lot. One came in and asked if we had a pay phone (back before cell phones were the norm). I initially figured they were lost, as everyone in the area drove pick up trucks- and our clientele was mostly local, older men. Soon a second guy came in and I observed the 3 rd guy standing by the door. He ordered a beer, but didn’t have valid ID- so I refused to serve him. The first guy started asking if the owner was there, or someone else who would tell me to serve them. I told him the cook was in the back, as I was getting a really bad vibe. They then walked outside and were standing at the passenger side of their vehicle talking. Immediately I went and locked the door. They then came back and were pulling on the door, and one went around the back. I ran in the back, grabbed the biggest knife I could find, and called the owner to come down (he was closer than the cops, a vet, and always armed). As soon as they saw his truck pulling in they jumped in their car and took off like a bat out of hell! To this day I believe had I not locked the door, I would have been robbed, attacked, or worse. Always listen to your instincts!!!

They should have used a broker since buying a boat is akin to buying a house- you have to show it or you cant expect to sell it, but i would never agree to meet strangers in a private setting where anything foul could happen- and be covered up- and did. Not just their demise, but the way it happened. As soon as I saw the #powerrangers in the description, I knew who it was from a Dateline episode. The episode described how they held hands as they were bound. Heartbreaking and disturbing. I wish it could be eye for an eye.

same, i noticed so many true crime channels just mainly focus on the killer with like a few sentences dedicated to the victims while making this whole spiel about respecting victims etc... this channel is the first time i really felt much more for the people who were caught up in this awful situations
