    Is any of the sound processing components on this black version different from that on the orange version? It seems the changes are mainly the color, labels, and some control knobs' physical design.

    Just ordered one of these and I'm trying to plan my cabling - do the front panel inputs override the rear ones? ie, if I leave a mic cable permanently connected at the back, will that be automatically removed from the signal path if I make a connection via the front panel XLR?

    Nice review. I have a big confusion.
    *Can I use this preamp for lead vocals because warm audio says it is suitable for background vocals.
    *Can I use a condenser microphone with this?
    * Will this be suitable for both male and female vocalists?
    *Is this good for Indian voltage?
    Please help me out to select the best preamp for indian vocals and instruments.

    • @WarmAudioOfficial
      @WarmAudioOfficial  2 роки тому +1

      Hello again Shravan!
      - This preamp will definitely work with a condenser microphone and can be used for both female and male vocals. Since the TB has saturation capabilities that can push an overdrive or even distortion on your audio source, it is typically used for instruments that you want some grit. Often used for electric guitar or bass.
      - No problems with Indian voltage. India should be at 220v and our units have a switch for both 115v and 230v. You should be good.

    I have decided to buy this beast but I have a confusion regarding the FUSE switch at the rear panel. I am in India, so what to switch in that? Will this work perfectly for the indian voltage.I am really confused about this. Please anyone help me out. What different voltages are there and to which voltage should I switch?

    • @WarmAudioOfficial
      @WarmAudioOfficial  2 роки тому

      Hey Shravan! Yes, the voltage in India India should be at 220v. Our units have a switch for both 115v and 230v. You will be fine on the 230v setting. Voltages can range by 15% and make no effect on the product or sound quality.

    When recording electric guitar and electric bass without a DI box, what problems will arise if I connect to the LINE input without using the hi-z ?

    • @WarmAudioOfficial
      @WarmAudioOfficial  5 місяців тому

      Hey there! To put it simply, you'll experience a diminished tone.
      To achieve the best results when recording electric guitars and basses, it's recommended to use the dedicated hi-z input on the preamp designed for these instruments. This ensures optimal impedance matching, level handling, and preservation of the instrument's tone.

    • @urockstudio
      @urockstudio 5 місяців тому

      @@WarmAudioOfficial Thanks for the comment.
      Actually, I asked because the Hi-z part of my TB12 was broken.
      Yesterday, a repair shop technician replaced one of the condensers on the board and it is now working.
      However, another question arose: When I input guitar or bass, I see a yellow light on the level meter even if I lower the gain of the equipment to the lowest. (This also happens when I don't play hard.)
      So when using hi-z mode, I always have to use the -20db pad, and this sound goes into the WA76. Even if the yellow light is visible only briefly, noticeable distortion is added. Is this normal?
      (Assuming I want to get a transparent sound rather than a distorted sound)
