@@alessandropiersanti9426Well it doesn't. To breath easier when having sleep apnea, maxima and the chin needs to be moved forward. Only increasing the width of the maxila does nothing for sleep apnea.

This guy btw has been struck off the register in Australia for giving people multiple complications post surgery and being utterfly flagrant when people complain. The sheer irony of Paul Coaceinceg talking about red flags. Shame on JawHacks for peddling this filth.

Whatever interviews he puts out, we have to see them. Or else people don't know what is going on. Let the doctors duke it out. Let people make their decisions...
I totally agree with what Dr Coceancig is saying.
For the same reasons I am hesitant to buy a car the is just released. You (the buyer) are a part of the “testing group”…The bugs haven’t been worked out yet.
Much like his surgical techniques...
I remember there were a few negative reviews on r/jawsurgery that quickly got deleted after. Seems there are some legal issues going on with him, which is why he was suspended.
I don't understand why Jawhacks is doing this when he is well aware from the comment section weeks ago that Dr. Coceancig lost his license. He even made outlandish claims such as MSE doesn't help with nasal breathing.
I would argue the Picasso surgery has just as much, if not more complications and risks as tooth borne expansion

The amount of hate towards this man is just disturbing. He has innovated a treatment (IMDO) for children to treat deficient mandibles and you people want to tear him down. This is really disheartening because no one else has an effective treatment besides very invasive jaw surgery. The other fact I'd like to point out is that Australia is a country where there shoot first ask questions later. Dr. Paul Coceancig has other things going on that's preventing him from practicing (that are personal and I will not share them here). Please be kind and wait for facts to be revealed because as of now there is no evidence I can find anywhere except on Reddit where people complain about him without sharing specifics, pics, scans etc. (Last I checked that was called hearsay). With that being said I think a lot in lost in translation because I watched the previous video and there was a simple misunderstanding of what Ron was stating because he wasn't using the proper terminology (because Ron is not a doctor). Ya'll need to chill.
Other jaw distraction devices were around decades before IMDO, it's just reinventing the wheel. All maxillofacial surgeons can use them. Generally BSSO is preferred and gives more accurate results.
Nobody in Australia is suspended from medical practice for personal reasons. Suspensions occur when someone is a danger to patients.
@@marcuslindstrom3467 Well, as I stated before I will not talk about his personal issues but trust that they are related. Sorry, I cannot say how because I don't feel that is my place and want to be respectful. As I understand it, IMDO is less invasive than a BSSO (which I have had done). Less risk of nerve damage and when applied to children can produce great results. As for the concept, Coceanig has been transparent about how things are marketed. Like most of the other acronyms on this channel are.
