    Absolutely correct Ron. Thankful to God they my 3 week old is able to take the to the breast extremely easily. Mom has been superwoman feeding every few hours. Shout out to the incredible women who literally make and raise the next generation.

    Woohoo. Thanks for the post Ron. My youngest daughter gagged on a bottle and formula, even breastmilk in a bottle. Both kids breastfed for 9 months and neither needed any orthodontic treatments. I was willing to make the sacrifice as well.

      I mean, for real! The whole world seems to have forgotten that at the end of the day we are mammals. And mammals grow up by sucking milk. Even whales do that ffs, they have special slits covering the nipples 😂 Breastfeeding is one the most, if not the most important developmental factors of a human being!

    This is the most important video that you’ve ever done. This matters for families because it explains how the choices made from the very beginning (or even before pregnancy or birth) affect a person throughout their lifetime. Hopefully you can bring some experts on to discuss how to encourage babies to become breastfeeding when they have latch difficulties. Many medical professionals tend to give up quickly and recommend the bottle.
    I watched a friend as a young mother who had just given birth be told by the nurse that the baby was having difficulty breastfeeding so they’d switch her to the bottle. I saw them try no more than 5 minutes. Of course she was NOT given techniques, education or options beyond the bottle.

    What are your thoughts on pacifiers?

    • @JawHacks
      @JawHacks  25 днів тому +8

      I am strongly against them. They promote poor myofunctional habits and can permanently reshape the maxilla for the negative. Mom’s nipple is the best pacifier as it soothes the baby while promoting good facial development

      If a baby needs a pacifier or thumb to soothe, that is indication their tongue is not connecting to their palate from back to front. Have a myo therapist check their tongue to make sure it’s not tied. There are exercises to help baby’s suction tongue.
      The tongue and the breast should be baby’s only two oral soothers. The tongue is actually a built in pacifier.

    Make sure the baby does palatal suction and not cheek suction when breastfeeding.
    I was breastfed and i have always sucked on the cheeks, so i had giant cheeks and a flat face as a baby. The tongue on the palate can create a nice suction even with the mouth/lips separated slightly. This make sure the baby suck with a relaxed face without any tension. Tension on the face is in my belief what causes the downswing.
    As an adult you can try with a straw and see the difference between cheek and palatal suction. You might have to jut the lower jaw forward to achieve the palatal suction

    Bro I highly recommend you feed your baby a diet consisting of animal foods and primarily animal fats. You’ll be getting your child all the nutrients it needs and your baby will become a lot stronger a lot faster especially the neck. Animal fat is key for proper jaw development and b12 is key for proper brain development. So feeding your baby egg yolks, ofc breast milk, and lots of red meat(don’t over cook or else your going to denature the water soluble vitamins). This might come as a shock to you when I say this but stay away from feeding sugar rich foods like fruits, honey, and any grain because it’s going to kick your baby out of ketosis which is what every mammal is born in and should stay in their whole life. Babies are in ketosis even during breastfeeding they get kicked out when we feed them a bunch of sugar. I’d stay away from all vegetables also because they are highly toxic and no baby will eat them willingly so that should tell you something. I’m basically trying to say diet is very important for facial development along with facial posture. Anyways ask me any questions if you got any. Your videos have helped me a lot so peace.

    1. newborns are prone to mouth-breath, - the native Americans found this out, when they saw their babies with mouths open they'd get their fingers and just shut their mouths

      I’m not totally sure as I’m not there yet. Perhaps at that age start with verbal coaching to keep mouth closed. Insist on it. Incentivize it somehow. Ensure nose is clear.

      It is either way a reaction of their body to some factors, not a conscious choice of the children. Run a profound allergy check and mold check of the house. 24% of population has a mutation that makes them extremely susceptible to mold spores, even in very tiny amounts.

    women don't recover properly from a pregnancy either if they don't breastfeed the baby long enough. if the mother doesn't breastfeed, she will start menstruating again immediately, but if she continues breastfeeding, menstruation won't come back until the baby is weened. another thing is that the health of the jaw and mouth is linked to the health and positioning of the pelvis, so if a woman has poor oral posture, it probably affects the risk level of the pregnancy and odds of needing a c-section for example, because her pelvis will be dysfunctional. modern "doctors" and "scientists" of course will never explore these things deeply since it would probably cut into percocet sales if people had good posture.

    Do pacifiers force a baby to nose breathe. That’s the only positive I can think that come out of a pacifier
