I learned years ago that my own extended family grappled with intergenerational trauma. Explained so much.
    What about you?

Same here. A lot of people can relate to you.
And Thank you for your compliment as well. Not sure why that comment was lost! UA-cam has been buggy this weekend.

Yes! I have sensed this for years, but never had a name for it. This explains so much about the way I see myself and the world, things that I believe inside, but intellectually know is untrue! Isn’t it frustrating how difficult it is to change these subconscious beliefs?

My mom nearly killed me. My advice to anyone who grew up in an abusive family. RUN. I regret not doing it. It got worse after I had my daughter my mom with held my medication and would take my daughter as a newborn and gaslight me. She denies being abusive and trying to hurt me. My mom is a borderline psycho.

Thank you for discussing marriage and commit. Divorce and unhealthy relationships is very prevalent in my family history. 😢 This is eye opening.

As someone who experienced CSA, I find it absolutely disgusting that anyone would want to “pass it on” to their own children. I’ve gone through a lot of therapy to cope with and process it. I do believe my father was SA’d by my grandfather and that’s why he did it to me. It’s so important for people to resolve their traumas and break these disgusting cycles.

I like what you said about marriage. Sadly, my parents always told me that marriage was a piece of paper. It really bothers me.

Woooooow!! This really hit home and you gave a much better description of what this is!
I’ve seen and experience(d) a fair portion of this. There are some things that I recognized better in recent times being in the predicament that I’m clawing my way out of even as I type this.
I’m really shocked that for as long as this video has been up, there aren’t way more comments and views as there are.
And in regards to the individual who thumbed this video down, apparently this video also hit home in the worst of ways.
The turmoil that individual must have inside has to be horrific to him/her/them!
