Thank you for your review 👍 just bought one for my wife’s car. Seems pretty neat. Reading the Manuel I think you can get a double ended male 12v connector and charge it while you drive.
And uh, how much voltage is it supposed to put out?? And uh, apparently I missed the part where you put a volt meter to show how much voltage it puts out. And uh...
Just picked one up at the pawn shop for 70$ in near perfect condition. I wasnt sure its limitations but your vid answered all my questions about the power pack output.
I just picked one of these up for my brand new car so I can make sure my tires are always inflated. I'm thinking its going to be some time before I need to use it to charge my car. it will also be nice to have for "just in case", a cheap insurance policy if you ask me! I have another portable shumacher power station I have for the house, have yet to use it but it is fully charged as well!
I bought a new one yesterday from Walmart. Bought it mainly to run a small led tv, and dvd player when I can't use the generator in our RV. Won't even allow to turn the tv on, and alarm beep goes. Tv is only about 60 watts at 1.5 amps. Very disappointed.
Hey how do I charge it? I see the plug in the back of the jump starter but it’s not like I can plug that thing into the wall? Is there a certain plug I can buy?
I know I’m supposed to charge it every month to keep the battery fresh. I’m not very strict and charge it every once in awhile as necessary. The battery is still good for DC but the inverter stopped working. O well
@@theworkshop6588 Yeah same here, my air inflator hose broke and it doesn't even jump my 5.7 hemi truck, this thing is junk as it's only 9 months old and barley used. I'm tired of garbage products. I went and bought a JNC yellow pack and so far it blows the Schumacher away, but it's pricey.
Adquiri uno de eso hace unos meses lo conecté mal a la batería y me quemó el fusible le cambié el fusible y no me quiere encender quién me puede ayudar ??
It’s not meant to charge your battery but to jump start the battery. It has cables you hook up to the car battery to start your car when the car battery is dead.
I bought one at Lowes. The inverter is weak. I almost believe the 200 watts is peak power. I have better luck using the 12V plugs. you can plug a good inverter at around 200-300 watts in the 12V side and run bigger stuff for a short period.
They’ll power a lamp and your phone charger and ipads and all of that. It powers my cigarette roller. It will not power my coffee pot. I have a kurig coffee pot so im not sure about regular coffee pots. It stays charged a long time too. I jump starts my 7.3 diesel engine. Which has two batteries so im sure it will jump a car or truck with one battery and a gas engine. I’ve been happy with mine because our power goes out if it sprinkles lol. So we use it alot for lighting and phone chargers. I was bummed out about the coffee pot situation though. It must take alot of power to push a cup of coffee out of a kurig lol.
Have one and have had it for less than one year. Air Compressor is acting up. This is probably made in CHINA, questionable quality control like everything made in CHINA. Buyer purchase at your own risk!
Thanks for the input. My inverter recently stopped working but the compressor and the jump start feature still work. I agree with you. It is a useful tool but it may have problems. I will just use it until it dies.

Not sure, I just use the 110v plug to charge it. I think it is important to keep the battery topped off once a month to keep it fresh.

Just brought one. Trying to learn to use it.

It plugs into an extension cord.
Just use an extension cord.
You can just run a three prong chord from wall and plug it up to the three prong plug on the unit
Just got one do I really have to charge it for 36 hours before using?
