Thanks man and any idea what model of tester? I have the PT50B that measures in 5 gram increments however kinda wish I got the PT50A that measures in 1 gram increments. If you try one out hope you shoot some footage of it, fun little gadgets to play around with.
Wow. Just wow. Very sharp. I wish it was the pt 50A just to know exactly ;). Nice edge. I ordered some EP diamond matrix stones from Ben after chatting a bit about them. Can’t wait to try them out.
NORTHWEST_KNIFE_GUY bought all but he 80 grit for now but may go ahead and add that too soon. 250, 650, 1100, 2300, 4000 I think. Ben shed some light on them and I decided to pull the trigger. Will let you know how they work,but on hard stuff, sound promising for EP anyway.

@@knifesharpeningnorway @burrfection doesn't check for microburr, he just assumes that the apex is fully deburred after his extensive deburring efforts. what a shame.
I have tested on both surfaces and makes absolutely zero difference, get the same readings on both. Tester on a hard plastic table: ua-cam.com/video/0TXquBnvInk/v-deo.html
I think you need some thicker hair...lol. That is one sharp blade. Makes me want to break out my Opinels. However, for me, they are already pretty sharp. I’d probably end up making it duller...lol.

You should set the besser on a solid surface not a sponge mat as it probably give inaccurate measurings...
Pretty sure grams will go up if you do that
