Thanks for the comment Joe!. 👍 yes it's easy to say this needs changing, but it helps when you take the time to understand how it works and WHY you get the problems 👌
@TRUCK TECH UK Sorry, I meant top drawer as in the video was good. Your diagram was fine to me. The diagram works for me because I have replaced a couple of these ad blue pumps and have a little understanding of what's in the system. Keep up the good work on all the videos and the diagrams present and future
Ah, get you now buddy 😂😂😂🫣 I'm a idiot lol 😆 Who hasn't replaced a few of these pumps! The best thing is a repair kit is about 200 quid 😂 saves buying new 👌 Thanks for the words of encouragement 🙏 I should be doing another adblue pump video next weekend, but the latest unit 👌
Hi bro. How are you. I want to ask you, if the VGT is faulty , can it be that the exhaust is full with soot from the turbo to the exhaust unit, because whe I regen it till it empty and after 3 days it's about half full .so can it be that
I'm good thanks buddy. The VTG can bring faulty as can the turbo as the arm can crack. You best off checking these if you suspect that they have failed. What I'd be questioning (depending on the exhaust system) is when was the DPF last changed or replaced! You really need some fault codes to confirm your diagnosis
Hi, thanks for the comment. It depends on what is wrong with your pump. It certainly can work out at a fraction of the cost of a new pump if it's just the seals. But you might need a pump or pressure sensor depending on your fault and how much Adblue has covered the components inside. I sell all the components over at www.trucktechuk.com in the shop which is what I use to rebuild my customer's pumps Hope this helps 😎
Hello mate, if the pressure sensor has failed will the pump activate at all? I disassembled mine, but have no ad blue leakage, pump won't start. How can we determine the pressure sensor has failed? Thanks
Hi, thanks for the comment. I have a video here to upload with an Adblue pump pressure sensor failure. If you have a faulty pressure sensor you might find the pressure measurement is a minus figure when attempting to prime through an activation test and its going to give you a pressure sensor fault DTC-wise.
@@TRUCKTECHUK Sadly I have no test equipment, this Noxtronic is on my combine harvester so it's not something I deal with daily. So if I understand correctly, the pump will not prime without a pressure reading? Can I test the sensor with a multimeter? I will try looking for one tomorrow, but I think I won't have much luck here in Bulgaria. Thanks for the swift reply mate
Unfortunately, I've never stripped one. Daf only supplies a complete unit and I've not changed one for a good few years.......I've looked for some diagrams but again can't find anything 😞. Not what you want to hear I know 😮💨
Yo dude. John here with the mixers. Can i get both ECU programs with the same key frequency. Meaning my trucks will work if I straight swap them. I don’t mind taking ecu off the other truck. Yes, the injectors are coded, but they are trim values, and I know a lot of people never bother to code them as they are lazy and if they can't be recovered from the vehicle configuration manager they just don't bother taking the time to do the job properly and adding them back to the ecu
It would if comments were enable for this video! 😂😂😂😂
great video and very interesting and useful information mate .👍

As always great piece of advice! Do you have part number for tracks replacement?
Hey thanks for the comment. The number I've used for reference from the supplier is on the track itself, which is 153539-1

what is going on ?
Hi mate do you have a teardown on the older model 1818625 adblue pump i may need to replace the filter housing
