    What an amazing man, thankyou so much for all the info. Iv listened to Miguel alot. When I crash, I still get overwhelmed with negative thoughts ,I cry and get so upset because I feel so horrendous. I overdid it on half term with my son, I went out a few days. I rested and used an evbike. Crashed for 2 weeks since. Constant migraine etc. Last night I slept for the first and feel better. But for 2 weeks I went through hell. I will try my hardest to not think so negative on a readjustment period. I am 45 with one son age nearly 6. My son has only seen me sick. He told me when he was 2 that God was going to make me better.

      @@ljon008 I am getting out more, functioning more. But still I find myself with days I cannot mentally or physically function and adjustment periods. I still cry with frustration and how I just can't manage this illness. Also I'm 47, my hormones are really effecting me,fatigue, insomnia inflammation all over my body when I get out of bed. I think I might be starting the menopause. I just can't keep up with symptoms, just thanking God when I do get out and don't feel awful. I went ice skating with my son. Just have to keep going and praying for full healing. Thankyou for asking. Hope all is well with you.

    This was the best video I have seen regarding CFS Recovery, well done!. Junior broke down recovery into simple and easy to understand steps, thank you Junior and Miguel for releasing this free information. So many of search for years to find something to help us, spending ridiculous amounts of money that most of us can not afford. Now more than ever there are programs galore and it is difficult to navigate. Junior clearly articulated what recovery entails and what the program has to offer. Brilliant!! Thank you, and a hand up here to the Obsessive/Analytical Personality type and its definitely a roadblock to healing!
    Curious if this Obsessive type personality is common in people with CFS to start with?? I think it might be, maybe moreso than the “Type A” personality that is often quoted!

    • @vintage_violet
      @vintage_violet 2 роки тому +3

      YES, same here, I think there's some truth to this, myself I have a chronic "life anxiety" that makes me careful/analytical/observational/ADHD etc. I was primed to get CFS because i pushed and pushed and my brain would never rest even when my body did. AND I've spent WAY TOO MUCH time researching my illness obsessing about it, wasted months/years of brain energy! For me I think my "personality type" comes from infant/childhood trauma that put me on high alert and thus an "unrestful" nervous system. I was fine until i wasn't (I crashed after giving birth at 33, still struggling 20 years later with "mild" CFS having recovered somewhat but am 53 and not sure if I'll ever be "energetic" again).

    I’m in Australia, would you still call me twice a week? I’m pretty bad. 🇦🇺 I like the sound of this programme. Yes I am a type A personality. I’m also 64 years old. I thought I was too old to heal. I used to be a completely non stop person. I rode racehorses, drove trucks interstate, and travelled non stop when I wasn’t doing any of the above. I also ran up the hills where ever I was.

    @cfsrecover Does the program use visualization at all? Is the brain rewiring simply just telling ourselves we are safe? I have a hard time because when symptoms arise (and there are many), my thoughts go to all the dark narratives of what this could be (it's Lyme! Mold! Drug injury! Treatment resistant anxiety!) and it's hard to get calm. How to break those patterns of behaviour?

    Liz, curious if anyone with CFS had/has family/parents/grandparents with epilepsy/seizures. Someone pointed out maybe genetically this has something to do with too much glutamate/low gaba activity - is this something you've heard of. Wow thank u so much Liz and Junior for such an amazing interview 🙌🦄🙏
    I had a question (I don't know if junior will see this tho 😅) but he talks about the 3 levels and how when your in a 1-3 and 4-7 I think it is, u can do the self talk and soothing etc. But it's really only when your feeling 1-3 you should increase activities slightly- does he have any suggestions for how to get to having some 1-3 days ?😊 I'm house bound and my good days are 4-7 , i literally haven't experienced a "1-3 good day" in over a year so I'm not sure how to increase /is it still ok to try very gradually increasing? I hope this makes sense, any reply is greatly appreciated 🦄🤩

    • @JuniorKymusic
      @JuniorKymusic 2 роки тому +3

      Hey Megan,
      Junior here. If you’re at a 4-7 constantly then that’s probably your baseline and that’s as good as it gets for you at the moment. I’d expand from there extremely gently, flare up symptoms, stay as composed as you can throughout it, wait for the symptoms to die back down to a 4-7 and then go again. As you consistently do that you should notice over time your symptoms and fatigue will slowly decrease with each adjustment period you have (given you don’t have any personality roadblocks that are hindering this process) and your 4-7 should eventually get lower and lower until you’re at that ideal 1-3. Hope that helps!
      Hey, we’re doing a free masterclass on our Facebook page where we teach people how to recover from start to finish completely for free. It’s completely do it yourself as well!
      Hope to see you there!
      Take care and I really hope you start seeing better days!

      This is your nervous system. Your main job is to reduce stress and then slowly build autonomic nervous system resilience. Buy and print-out the ebook from Miguel Bautista, Junior's teammate Thriver: How to Beat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Buy the paperback books:The Power of Now, CFS Unravelled: Get Well By Treating the Cause Not The Symptoms, The Presence Process, Jan Rothney's new book, and Wired for Healing by Annie Hopper. Also Get the Life You Love Now by Dr. Phil Parker may be very helpful. None are symptom specific, but address the cause of nervous system dysfunction and also how our reaction to our symptoms can make a major difference (even though we didn't cause them.) I do not focus on symptoms.

      It's not cheap and may be out of reach for people - it's 4 figures. I lone-wolfed a lower-price out-of-the-box program. With Miguel & Junior's program, you're getting four hours of calls per week with Miguel and Junior, the encouraging private group forum, the video program, and access until you recover. I do hear a lot of value in the comradery and personal help. I'm working on a programs guide for transparency where I'll have more detailed info on all the programs, so people can make the best decision for their needs and budget.

      I suggest Dan Nueffer's program (he has a YT channel too if you're not familiar, CFS Unravelled), it's at least a start and it's much less cost, wonderful info that has helped me immensely.

      Dan has a great holistic recovery + brain retraining program. There is no live instruction or Q&A included or cohort. Dan does add-on 1-2-1 coaching for an affordable (though not cheap) rate, and there is no forum but you can interact with others and Dan through the comments on the instructional videos. The cost of Miguel & Junior's program is their time and energy on the video calls and them actively answering questions in the private Discord forum. I'm all for whatever resonates and fits with your goals and budget.
