For those of you that have asked how they can tip me. You can now click the “super thanks” button and add a tip. Grateful for all my viewers and subscribers! This channel would be nothing without you!
I’ve been wanting to see SOMEONE else attempting this procedure before I attempt this😝 “Visual Courage” lol 😝 Thank you for sharing 👍
Thank you for watching!
On my own personal Frontier nismo I used KYB up front and Bilstein in the rear. Honestly the best matchup I’ve ever done, due to hauling and payload.
Thank you so much for making this video! It made replacing my struts a breeze! I'm amazed this video doesn't have more views. Keep up the good work!👍
This is a shockingly amazing video!!
Thank you for sharing your technical knowledge in a way that a skillful individual could replace the shocks on their own Ford Ranger. The only thing I need is vehicle hoist to get the job done and maybe a few extension rods.
Thank you for watching. You don’t need a hoist to do this job. You can do it right in your driveway for sure.
great video man. Im watching this hoping to change my rear shocks and replace one broken rearward leaf shackle, in my driveway though
Nice vid as usual. KYB's are good quality but tend to ride a little firm.
Hey man, please get back to me. I have my tire popped off, Mazda b2500. the bolt on top of the shock is seized up. Do I just cut it off? Thanks
Great video ,Thanks
Thank you!
Hey i watched a video on 07-14 Chevy Silverado thermostat change you did a while back. I have an 07 GMC Sierra 1500 I changed the heater hose. The one that connects from the firewall to the thermostat to the expansion reservoir tank, because the plastic cracked and broke so I replaced it replaced the thermostat because I tried to refill and burp the system but it wasn’t taking in fluid so after replacement I’m having the same issue. I fill it to the full line I turn on the truck then I turn on the heater on full blast, the electric fans or thermostat won’t engage. The thermostat and hoses are brand new. Bottom radiator hose it getting warm but the top one is cold. I need help thanks
my 2000 4 liter V6 Ranger front suspension makes for a very stiff ride, can feel every crack and crevice in the road. I have coil springs up front. is it the coil springs or the shocks that should be replaced to get a more car-like comfort level? I have a hitch but never use it and I haul nothing of extreme weight on the truck bed. tx
I had the privilege of doing this same job yesterday😎
Well hopefully everything went smooth.
@@HowtoAutomotive when does it ever😉
Wow this is shockingly easy!!
🤓 lol
Purrrumpump 🥁
Thank you for this. Can you do ball joints on this ranger also?
If another one comes in the shop for a ball joints I can make that video. How long that will be I have no idea.
I was "shocked" at the moment you got the strut out without a spring compressor
the way we do the front shocks were i am at is take a socket with a half inch ratchet on the nut and bend it back and forth till it breaks off
I’ve done that with some rusty ones
What kind of Long Wrench did you use and what brand
They’re called Mountain wrenches. I just added a link for them in the description of the video. You may have to refresh your page.
Thank you
What is the price on this job..??
this vid was shocking!!! ha! hope all is well brian
Lol All is well. Hope the same for you thank you for watching!
If I only had a lift...
I hear that. Craftsman hydraulic Jack is what I have to use.
Those shocks looks slightly worn out.
Just a little. Thank you for watching!
Great. After watching the video on your channel, I found that you are very suitable to promote our headlight bulb. Are you interested in cooperating with us? I have contacted you on IG. Hope you can reply to me, thank you.
