What I admire about Led Zeppelin's live performances is that they're completely unique, you'll never hear the same way twice. They changed the key from the studio version, add a verse, add a guitar solo, change the instrumentation, etc. It made their performances more special. I love it.
They changed the song's key (1 step higher) because they also changed the tuning Jimmy uses on guitar (studio version is on Open F tuning, live versions were on Open G). They changed the tuning for convenience's sake as That's The Way, the song preceding Bron-Y-Aur Stomp in the 1975 Earls Court setlist, was also in Open G. Ah can your love be so strong
When so many loves go wrong
Will our love go on and on
My, my, la de la, come on now it ain't too far
Tell your friends all around the world
Ain't no companion like a blue eyed merle
Come on now well let me tell you
What you're missing, missing, around them brick walls
So of one thing I am sure, it's a friendship so pure
Angels singing all around my door, so fine
Yeah, ain't but one thing to do spend my natural life with you
You're the finest dog I knew, so fine
When you're old and your eyes are dim
There ain't no old shep gonna happen again
We'll still go walking down country lanes
I'll sing the same old songs, hear me call your name

Bonzo passed away at 38 years old. The drummer. The best drummer of all time. The remainimg band members agreed that the band could never be the same. I think the world agreed. Each one of them was vital. All 4 where the best at what they did.
one of the best live performances I have ever seen
In 1975 Led Zeppelin was introducing rarely played songs like this one, on the setlist.
The greatest Accoustic guitar solo ever👍
Bonzo singing backing vocals! AmaziNg! Wish I could find more videos of him singing
JPJ is one of the most underrated musicians of all time!

Good choice mate
Exact same for me
you have good taste
Love these close ups! Love Led Zeppelin!
I honestly don't recall Led Zeppelin 'Live' recordings as being this tight or the clarity of each instrument and vocals being this good. Is this digital remastering technology at its best or is my hearing improving with age (think not the latter).... Man O Man, this is quite extraordinary.
3 Instruments and a Singer. Wow!!!
I think I had almost forgotten quite how good LZ were...this is amazing!!
Robert, Jimmy, Bonzo and John Paul at their ultimate best.
I have now also found other recordings from this gig as good as this.... Outstanding!!
agreed!
Remastering is amazing

The Earl's Court section of the live DVD is so hypnotic. I could watch this and In My Time of Dying all day long.
IMTOD on EC is a tour de force. never gets old.
Wish they would have done this in their 2007 concert.

this song completely mesmerized me for a year or so when I was about 14 years old and first discovered it
