Just got this board and took it out for its maiden voyage at Park City today. About 7 inches of fresh snow overnight on top of some midly-icey chop. Board floats very well in powder but physically feels heavy. I really had to lean back and load my back leg to pick up speed on snow-covered groomers. It bites confidently on the hardpack underneath and keeps traction well. On steeper terrain, the board rips as you are already naturally set back, and it has plenty of traction on the rear end. It surfs well in deeper snow and carves tremendously well at speed. You definitely need to be paying attention 100% of the time while riding, or else you'll lose the board from underneath you and catch an edge. I found it extremely difficult to ollie, however. I am unsure if it's because of the stiffness/profile (I'm coming from a Skate Banana with a mild-camber/rocker/mild-camber profile) or the directional setback. It does land jumps very forgivingly, despite riding very unforgivingly. My pass is empty, so I won't be able to ride until next year, but so far, I'm happy with it, I just need to get used to the transition. 7.8/10.
i'm running this board this season. love the sidecut ( carves great), and waistwidth is perfect for quick edge to edge transition. holds well at high speed, solid for my all mountain riding style.
