Came across this after watching the excellent 2024 Snowsurf Favourites review and searching Snowsurf boards on the website as suggested. Looking for an alternative to my current Salomon Super 8 which I do really like and guessing this would be better in powder? How about carving for a back foot dominant carver?
It’s recently become apparent to me that the back foot / front foot / centred characteristics of a board is one of the most important factors to me and wondered if it might be possible to add a filter or similar to the website for this? A back-foot carving favourites review would be great too 😊
    Keep up the great work!

Excellent suggestion! I'll add that to the list. Yeah the Single is a completely different ride. Much more mellow, set back, easy to turn and super back foot. Easier float too. The Super 8 is better for high speed carves and a more powerfull all around board. So depends on what appeals to you

Great review. My main board is a Capita BSOD 22/23 model 162. I picked this board up (in the larger size) at the end of last season. I have really been on the search for something that feels really “soul surfy”. That I can really do long g surf style carves on. And that I’m not trying to constantly destroy the mountain with (BSOD). Im going to pick up a new pair of 32 TM2 laced (not boa) boots this coming season as well. How do you think this would pair with Jones Mercury bindings?… I have Union Atlas now. As well as a union explorer bindings paired with Rovers in carbon. (off your reviews). That I was back country riding on this board. But hoping to ride it more inbound next season. And looking at the flagship 159w. Which will eventually pair with the Mercurys. Lots of info I know. Lol!

Thanks! So I got a lot of info here but we are skipping a lot of steps for me to help you properly. Hit me up here if you want to do this right and be happy next season. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/
I'm not sure how well the TM2's soft sole will pair up with the Mercury because it could cause pressure on your arch. The Jones TM2 would be better as it has a much stiffer sole but it is a hybrid split/solid boot. Check my review of the Mercury to see what I'm talking about. The Single might work for what you want but need to know more about you to make sure.

Love your reviews. I'm currently riding a "vintage" a-frame and looking for something that would be super-stable on groomers.
    Getting tired of catching edges...
What would you recommend? I'm thinking Satori...

Many thanks! I haven't ridden the Satori so can't really comment. Hit me up here and give me more info about yourself so I can help you properly. thegoodride.com/snowboard-binding-and-boot-advice/

This was an awesome review--thanks man! I am trying to decide between this board and the arbor formula rocker. I currently have a 152 gnu money. Its a little too flimsy for me is pretty choppy at high speeds. I do however like that its super buttery. I want something that is more stable with speed but still fun to ride around the mountain. What would you suggest between the formula rocker and the single? I also have a size 9 boot and weigh 160, so im trying to decide between a 152 and a 156.

Many Thanks! So those are two massively different boards. I think the Formula is more of a lateral move from the Money. It will be more damp and a little stiffer but still a very loose auto spinney ride. I would probably go Single 152. That being said I don't have a lot of info to give you good advice.
